AnonD-383472, 27 Jun 2016Lol maybe truelike jarvis, i wan ibmwatson
Even Google hates Android. This one will be super closed, not open. They are fedup with the fragmentation.
AnonD-463876, 27 Jun 2016I can't believe some gullible people below fell for your obvious sarcasm. I knew I should put an /s...
Shut up and take my money!
I'd want that Nexus 5 feel again where we get a Nexus at flagship specs, though it lacked battery life and expandable storage.
I'd take the S7 if it gets the Nexus treatment and getting rid of the glass back, more battery life too!
It could be a concept phone with project tango, daydream and their custom CPU which supports Machine learning capabilities. Nexus is very much alive.
Anonymous, 27 Jun 2016Look like more restriction ahead so Google can has more control. And possible Google want mone... moreThats mean only Huawei and Samsung are safe for now with their own OS. Google smartphone, i hope it is fully supported for updates without expiration date(nexus update only two years). Btw, what happens to google glass and project ara? They keep making new projects with no success. We want to see some results Google!
sr777, 27 Jun 2016Wonder if Android will remain open source after this. Look like more restriction ahead so Google can has more control. And possible Google want money right now. No wonder Huawei has already made move.
My dear electronics manufacturers, this is what you get when you depend on OS from other company such as Google, Microsoft. Instead you should make new foundation between all of you manufacturers and create new (your) OS so you don't depend on Microsoft, Google.
AnonD-322352, 27 Jun 2016And a gargantuan 4k 6" screen because that's what everyone wants!I can't believe some gullible people below fell for your obvious sarcasm.
AnonD-491490, 27 Jun 2016This mean we are expecting, i) A Nexus device from HTC. ii) A Nexus device from Huawei. ... moreIt's a really good time to be a Google fan, so many exciting products in the pipeline.
I remember how Google abandon "Google TV" box long time ago and then made "Android TV" aka Nexus player box. This year Google stop making Nexus player and Mi Box by Xiaomi will replace it.
I hope Google will take it seriously when they make their own cellphone.
AnonD-322352, 27 Jun 2016And a gargantuan 4k 6" screen because that's what everyone wants!Lol if they do what u just said...that thing will sell about 1000 units unless they price it < $100. It will be like a throw away backup phone.
But I am hoping the avalanche of very good low priced Chinese phone will change their calculus if they intend to make a phone that ppl will actually go for. Just a rumor now, but we shall see...
AnonD-322352, 27 Jun 2016And a gargantuan 4k 6" screen because that's what everyone wants!I really like my Nexus 6's display, won't be downgrading to smaller phones.
AnonD-322352, 27 Jun 2016And a gargantuan 4k 6" screen because that's what everyone wants! Can't tell if you are serious or just sarcastic, but yes the market for phones world wide is indeed towards large phones with crazy specs at a affordable price. That's how the sales work because the market has spoken.
BTW you response has nothing to do what my original post was about.
This mean we are expecting,
i) A Nexus device from HTC.
ii) A Nexus device from Huawei.
iii) Project Aura (possibly this year, but probably next year.)
v)All Google-made smartphone.
