Oh my HD2,and they rediculed you for being too big for a phone with 4.3 inch screen.
I think this samsung is a Phone for people with a very large head.

You want a clamshell brick phone with an antennae and "no comfort"?? You can still find those around if you dig under a rock. You may find the new features of phones to be frills and totally unnecessary, however people like myself who live a busy lifestyle who simply cannot carry around a clunky clamshell, GPS device, MP3 player, and netbook rely on the consolidation smartphones and tablets provide. So don't hate.

Oh just read that there is no Super-AMOLED! Con on, for this price a Super AMOLED is a must have!

My willingness to pay dropps to 400 EUR now.... WTF...

Wayyyy too expensive: 759 EUR in Germany... Com one Samsung, you can't compete with the iPad at this price. 499 or maybe 549 would be OK.

And why everybody randomly start to talk about, comparing and praising iPad in every single thread? That's a good device but we can't afford that yaar ! Can fanboy/fangirl owe us one?

There are whispers, that the next tab from samsung would feature Android Honeycomb 3.5 which will be an android version optimized only for tablets. Samsung, however, aside from some indications, are mum on that. That comes natural and important too. Reason being they don't want to suffer Galaxy Tab sales. Because people would then start to wait for Honeycomb device, which would be an better tablet OS in every single respect and on better hardware.

Obviously, this final showcase of galaxy tab along with few pre-launch leaks would have held back a lots of potential Galaxy S buyers who prefer big screens and consider galaxy tab as an alternate.

In my opinion galaxy tab is an very good alternative for those who need to do stuff on the move e.g. read ebooks, watch movies, surf internet, and LbntL make phone calls obviously. Samsung already indicating tab would get upgraded to the Android Gingerbread 3.0. However, we have to see how Gingerbread stacks up to the rumored Honeycomb and other regular android OSs

yeahboy12, 03 Sep 2010Samsung Galaxy Tab will surely threaten Apple's iPad. I see that Samsung Galaxy Tab will be a ... morerather have samsung anyway,i have never owned any apple products in my life..i think 7 inch looks much better in the hands and its samsung whos screens have been tops since day one,,

Everything to me is a mess at the moment with dell 5 inch tablet/fone and Android all over the place,,no button fones,,updates here and their,,bad screens in sunlight,,buggy fones ,,nokia going touchscreen then onto meego,,is a fone a fone anymore???

I would describe a clamshell with an aerial a fone and all others just slabs you hold against your ear with NO comfort,,fones of today just dont hug the ear like landlines for good talk comfort and only moto addressed this with its kick design,,cant imagine these things at you ear id be laughing at myself....

BRING BACK CLAMSHELLS like a nokia e90 or anything JUST get rid of the slab touchscreen mess of a fone market!!!! :-((
