nokia it self is a very unique brand, when we buy a phone we not only look forward about camera.we thinks about the programme installaton too.In nokia we can instaLL different programs like smart movies, games:but sadly, in sonyerricson we cant do such thing. my question is, can we install programmrs to K800?

Sony Ericson is the best of the best nokia make cellphones with camara but sony ericson make camaras with cellphones :D i am in total agree win the wining decision of sony ericson! the pictures are so sharp!!

im sorry but im a lil off topic....i would like to compare the k800 vs sharp904 vs n80. the sharp904 claims that they got the fastest shutter on the market. in addition, the display have been modify to give a more crisp clear image...
will sumone give me sum feed back..thanx

K800's still camera is better no doubt. But N80's video is faaaaaaaaaar better than that of the SE. N80 suits me best cause i need wi-fi in a phone (we've got wireless internet all around campus) and i'd rather have good video. Thats whats cool about having competition, we can all have the product that suits our needs best.

s60 having 'more applications' is a moot point on the n80. cos the n80 are using the newer symbian version, which older symbian programs will not work. unless someone figures out a way to 'recompile' the old progs, wm5, the new symbian and uiq are starting on pretty even ground.

If you are not interesting in buying OS phone,the k800 is the best of the rest! Better camera than N80 and etc.
If you prefer buying OS phone,even more expensive than others,N80 is the best choice

i think n80 has a better design and i think it is much more smarter than k800....thats because n80 is a smartphone...i once use k750...and i think nokia is more user friendly than se....i dont know bout you guys but thats what i think....i think that n80 will be more successful because it comes out first....

Im wondering how you can say that the SE phones has got better designs. I think that all SE phones looks completly the same. Maybe you should say that SE has better design (only one) if you prefer SE over Nokia. :)

p900 and p910 are 2-3 years old phones.if you read mobile review of p990 you will see that its screen isn't far from n90/n80 uses.also p990 uses uiq 3.0 which is better than s60 version 3.

Some of you refered to p990. Yes, its a touchscreen phone with big screen but i cant say is better than the new nokia phones. Nokia phones are full of better functions and series 60 gives you countless of them. I have tested p900 and p910: bad screen quality, few programs...and my cousin's p900 broke in a week. N80 money's worth.

Hey i think the n 80 is still better bcoz the pic quality iis good but not that ok k800 but wht do you want the best pic quality u dont have to zoom much... n thevideo quality of n 80 is the best n series 60 sliding...on other hand the k8000 only good pics. beetter sound qualityonly. n 80 is still better...

to the guy that says n80 is better than p990.p990 is a bussiness phone with touchscreen 2.6 inches and qvga resolution.n80 on the other hand has better resolution but only 2.1 inches and not touchscreen.also p990 has qwerty keyboard and just what every heavy user needs(2mp camera,mp3.fm tuner,and up to 4gb!!! expandable memory) not to mention uiq vs s60 thing.sorry nokia lovers but p990 rules smartphone war.

It is hard to compare cameras... It is clear that SE has better one, but Nokia's camera is good enough for the pictures. Xenon flash is also not much beter than the Nokia's. Nokia's flash works in 2-3 meters distance, and SE works in maybe 5-6meters, i guess... Video quality is not comparable- Nokia wins;)
However, none of these mobiles can replace a usual digital camera, and Nokia is a better mobile phone.
All in all, i vote for Nokia

how can u compare n80 and p990 if n80 is out and p990 will be out in september? And n80 is smaller, nicer, lighter, with miles better screen, wi-fi b/g, edge, better camera etc etc.

what i've notice is every single one of u regardless u r pro k800 or n80 r admitting that the BETA version of k800 is betta than the FINAL version of n80. Most ppl will defend n80 by saying that n80 has a betta overall quality becoz its a smartphone or betta video. i thought gsmarena started this thread just to make sure that evryone of u agree with them that k800 takes betta picture?

Is obvious that N80 has more functions than K800, N80 is a smartphone and K800 is only a phone with a great camera and the best quality. Nobody can say that nokia is the best phone maker and its more advenced than SE and Sony Ericsson is nothing without Sony tech, remember phones like T39m and Ericsson T68m, this phones makes a revolution in phone industry and nokia cant follow SE tech.
And for people who says that N80 smartphone is the most advanced: I say that P990 is the best phone and nothing can compare with it, N80 is in the floor if you compare it with P990.
And this case is the same long time ago, since the ugly 7650 released and P800 it makes the way in tech advance and functionality in phone industry.
And finally, you cant compare the mediocre and buggy Symbian S60 with the most advanced, reliable and personalized Symbian UiQ. Simply UiQ is the best in all aspects.
This is the difference between SE and nokia
