There's reason why MS give free upgrade, because Win10 is still buggy & not stable, MS want user become Win10 tester for free.
Once Win10 becoming more stable you'll have to pay for Win10.
Hoping they dont destroy it more. Few weeks back update caused my wifi to stop working. What a satisfactory OS. Also it jams just like the rest of Windows!
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016That will be your drivers, not Windows 10. Windows 10 should be able to use the already installed existing Windows 7 drivers after upgrading to Windows 10, Windows 10 is still Windows not OS X or Linux or Android...!

I wish i had a windows 10 laptop that works perfectly like windows 7 used to.
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016That will be your drivers, not Windows 10. Have tried different drivers long ago.
Issue was never fixed.
Other issues i had were the graphics card crashing for no apparent reason. (Have tried updating driver for this as well, did not work)
Backlit keyboard intermittently not working for 10 minutes after boot up. (Intermittent)
Log in issues.
Trackpad and touchscreen will not scroll at times (This seems to only happen when the backlit keyboard issue occurs)
Intermitent extremely slow boot up and shut down times. (Ultrabook running SSD should do this in less than 10 seconds) Not 5 minutes
I cant understand how my brand new laptop which came out of the box with windows 10 have so many BS issues whether they are driver related or not.
Its not acceptable.
My last Win 7 laptop never had any of the issue mentioned above.

mir, 30 Jun 2016Way to go man. Keep banging on about it. No one will stop you from releasing all those emotions.Rofl!
1 month left before Microsoft finally stops nagging us and using malware methods to install Windows 10 on our computers. I can finally re-enable Windows Update after several months of keeping it disabled.
Maybe some users will have difficulties to shift from one OS TO another but young generation should be adoptable. All in all win 10 is the best for me with Surface pro 4.

Maybe your laptop is faulty. I have been using windows 10 for the past 6 months on HP laptop and I have had the best experience using windows so far (formerly used xp, vista, 7,8). The OS is fast, no connection issues, no problems using at all. Of course, there may have been some errors while attempting to launch outdated applications. I assume you have not used vista extensively to say that vista is better... from my personal experience, vista delivered error reports from nearly every user action and it required to be reinstalled every 6 months to operate. Windows 10 is the best windows to date and it keeps improving!

I like windows 10... it is user friendly and runs well. Hope the Anniversary Update brings with it a lot of goodies as well as improvements. I recommend this OS to anyone... No problems so far running on my home PC, my home laptop (and its just a Core 2 Duo) and my office PC runs smoothly.
Anonymous, 30 Jun 20161 month left for the free upgrade and i'm still trying to decide whether or not to install Win... moreU should first upgrade to windows 10, and when it is registered to ur name, email. Then download the exact same version's (home, professional, single language, etc.) iso file and make Bootable usb of it using software( rufus is best and it is one i used, but select partition type carefully gtp etc.) . Then wipe windows' partition and Install widow 10 fresh. Ideally in windows 10 setup when it asks which drive to install it in, go to advanced options or search for delete partition option. Delete windows partition, then for it new then format it, then install windows 10 ( install same version which was downloaded and activated on ur pc during upgrade)
When fresh windows installed, use the email of windows 10 upgrade activation and ur done. Google for further detail.
