Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016I'm waiting when price drops close to $350 for the S7 edgeSee you in 2020.
These 2 unlocked babies are up for grabs in the USA on Samsung.com, too:
Let's deplete this stock! :-)
No bootloader unlock so pretty much useless.
Carrier bloat can be disabled with PackageDisabler.
Carrier phones are considerably cheaper with promotions and other bonuses you can only get with payment plans, etc.
Updates have been coming pretty fast with these phones, so that is no longer much of an issue.
The only good thing this brings are the following:
-No branding on the phone itself (although all carriers are putting only a logo on the BACK)
-Better aftermarket sale when you go to sell the phone since it's good for all carriers
Anonymous, 30 Jun 2016Maybe s8 release?Meh...it will cost you a "kidney" when the S8 comes out. The price from the S7 edge was
831 and now it's dropped to 596 that's a huge difference
