spotify is miles better than the fruit company music..apple only cares about making money and most people believe in that crap of the ios ecosystem
Apple is just being apple. If you can't beat them, no update on ios. Yet , moat people will say how great the fruity is.

I have to deal with apple store as well and trust me - putting app on apple store is pain... they take at least 4 weeks to approve that any app "abides" all the of the billion rules they have, some of those rules are to protect users, but majority is really used as a weapon to make sure no app can make any competition to apple own services e.g. they have taken down many health tracking apps even ones from like Nike and Garmin when releasing their crapplewatch. This means less choice for consumers and more profit for apple obviously. While controlling their own appstore is one thin, controlling companies outside of it yet another - they have no right to do it and I am sure Spotify will win this if they take it to the court. As well iphones are designed so you cannon install apps outside of appstore, which I believe is as anti-competitive. Hope apple will be taken to the court and loses a lot of money for their greed.
Let's hope iMoney Corporation is going down, even lower. This is worst company ever! :D

its like stabbing your own back using rusty knife. It doesnt work like that, they would lost LOTS of users because of that move.
As I said in comment below, corporations always work like that, and only way to fix it beside money, are users. WE are actually decide about moves of companies like Apple or Google, by using, or not using their products. But sadly no one care about it, adn they would buy and use anything as far as it is shiny and it have big text "buy me, its trendy! Your friends like it!"
Best example would be latest trend of removing audio-jack from phones... its ldiotic, everyone know that, its technically proved that its ldiotic, and only way to stop that is... not buying such devices... because corporation dont see opinions, but selling numbers, and if something dont sell good... THEN they will check opinions.

If u advertise don't put down the competitor. Do your best to make people realise that ur product is more cheaper than the others not by telling people that other cost more than spotify. Its for the people to figure out the price/cost. Fair advertisement should be practice.

Well. Was considering on getting an iphone SE 64gb. Guess I'll be going on to buy the regular S7 then.
Mouri, 01 Jul 2016Well, Apple has the right to set all the rules.Too bad, Spotify simply must follow Apple's rul... moreEven though you are not wrong, what I see as the problem is that Apple is, deliberately it would seem, making Spotify outdated (or at least not up to date) on iOS by not allowing the updates Spotify request to to be uploaded to be uploaded to the Apple store.
This gives Apples' service an advantage over the competition on iOS simply because Apple feels like it.
Unrelated, Spotify seeks to make themselves look better by helping their own customers save money. This means that Apple is loosing revenue, which is not what they want.
The two subjects are not really related to eachother, utter than that they are both about Spotify and Apple.
With every year I see that best motto for Apple and Google is:
"Because we F### can. Haha"
It's seriously sum up their every idea they made.
Corporation always work like that, but here we have companies that depend on users, and sadly no one of users realize that THEY are able to actually change that, but no one care. Now people are so dumb that all you need is to show them something shiny once per year to shut them up...

Spotify hasn't even broken any of Apple's "rules" - all they've done is the responsible thing and informed their customers of the cheaper option. Apple is screwing them over for literally nothing more than giving their customers the freedom of choice - if that's not anticompetitive to you, you need a new dictionary.
Apple has the best businessmen, they can squeeze profits in every single area. No wonder they are making billions
