but don't forget to contained the Optic Amoled display screen or nothing with new nexus sailfish
Bottom-firing speakers!? That's so backwards-thinking! We didn't come all the way from the days of the Nokia 3310 just to be relegated back to the dark ages of bottom-firing speakers!
Anonymous, 07 Jul 2016If you wanted smaller bezels, then the phone would have to either be thicker or taller or wide... morehave you ever thought that it's not everyone that needs pleasing
but there are things we all agree are disappointing about a phone
Anonymous, 07 Jul 2016That huge glossy area on the top of the back looks bad. I hope they drop that. And please let ... morecheck your facts with a galaxy s,note or A series
and all look damn sexy
they earned me a name
crapple, 06 Jul 2016after 3 months u will be saying "i should have bought HTC phones" ... LOL !! .. do u even know... morebecause the company isn't a cocky profit oriented apple like vampire. ...
I completely disagree with your statement. How do you figure? The new Nexus' will likely both have the Snapdragon 821 SOC (which no other devices have, at the moment) and will likely be priced in the $350/$500 price range for the small and large variant, which in the case of the smaller nexus, is HALF THE PRICE of the Galaxy S7.
Maybe in 2017 I will take a S8 or Nexus from HTC now I'm using HTC one X

Compared to phones like the M9, G5, and Moto X Style, it was actually cheaper while having a better hardware. Motorola did deliver timely updates, but after the Lenovo acquisition, the same can't be said anymore. Just google "motorola timely update" and you'll get more results about how terribly slow Motorola, or rather 'Lenovorola', role out their updates.

It have specs lower than regular flagship phone but priced similarly. How you want to compete. Motorola offers a stock android experience with way more powerful hardware. That is my main reason of not supporting Nexus phone. And you know Motorola, they do update fast. Hardware wise it is better with non-nexus.

It's no use when your flagship gets updated to the latest version too late that the new, upcoming one is only a few weeks away. It's true that AOSP ROMs can technically be flashed to other phones, but how many actually do have the support? It also doesn't help that custom ROMs are missing a lot of features. Often times, many are not even stable enough to be used on daily drivers.
Julliard, 07 Jul 2016Regular android also gets update after two years. Even the dreadfully slow Samsung able to upd... moreAre you joking? With Nexus you get updates almost immediately, but with other brands you have to wait for months. And since most brands heavily skin their phones, they get more and more sluggish the newer version their OS is on, since it's heavier than the last version. You sound like you want to defend your decision of buying a non-nexus phone.
Nexus are good devices.
This design looks good.Does have slight iPhone influence.
I dont know why to make fuss about bezels.how does function changes or device productivity affected with wide or thin bezels?
Regarding updates, nexus and Moto are first ones to get it.so need not worry.

Even the dreadfully slow Samsung able to update their two year old flagship to marshmallow. Buying a Nexus is no difference than buying any other regular android brands. Nothing special Nexus can really trully offer other than stock android experience that can be done in any phone with roots.
Isn't anyone gonna comment on the expected price ? ( keeping in mind 5x, htc 10, htc 10 lifestyle )

Never been impressed by any nexus phone, the only nexus I got was the lye tablet, because there was nothing else as good at the price.
Which is different from the nexus phones, you can buy far better phones for less than half the price, without the usual nexus compromise that each one seems to have had,I suppose to cheapen down the build so that Google can take its cut...
Let the moaning start because Android fans are never happy. so now people can start on about bezels and the crap camera and crap battery life and that's all before they have seen it in person or used it.
Huge ugly ass bezels i hope this isnt how the actual device is gonna be!!
