The statistics smell like 1983 all over again... when Apple Macintosh was, slowly at first, eclipsed by the IBM-Compatibles. Most of you were not born at the time but Steve Jobs surely was there to witness it.
After all those years he still didn't learn much to prevent Apple from the same mistakes. A good company at innovation but way... waaaay too arrogant and money hungry. Hype can get you to trick many people but not for long.

I didn't deny that. I said that a Jailbreak and a root unlock different features. A Jailbreak is still limited by iOS' architecture. A rooted android is WAY more customisable. Besides, Apple are trying to find ways of shutting down Jailbroken iPhones all the time.

Wow, apple's core system for their iphone will soon fail them at last. The problem with the iOS is its lack of full multitasking abilities. I don't know about android which is symbian's competitor, well i believe the analysts, symbian will remain number ONE. The only limitation to customizing a symbian phone is the cetificate, but with a 17 capabilities developers certificate, you are good to go. Symbian just need to work continously on their GUI, with that, no OS can stand them. What do you guys think?

of course apple did not invented everything but they are the once who enhances it and maximize the feature in full potential. for that nothing will beat iphone even the iphone 2g is better than the latest mobile in other brand.

Android's, once open, are as complicated as linux to program.
Plus, there are many ways to get customization systems WITHOUT jailbreaking (i mean like replacing HTC sense, that sorta thing).

Samsung Manufacture the chip and redesign the chip to fit into its smartphone portfolio by using the architect of ARM, licensed. Same goes for Apple, they redesign the chip to fit into their phone but they did not manufacture the chip. Apple was never a manufacturer. There are only 3 major manufacturer in this world that manufacture these chip, Samsung, Toshiba and Hynix. They invented new micro chips.
