AnonD-560228, 14 Jul 2016I wish this was just a rumor, I don't think the Iris scanner will be practical, especially sin... moredont like dont use it,simple
Not expecting Note 7's price to be below $900 by any means
What's the Canadian Exynos (N930W8) model doing in that FCC list with all the Snapdragon ones? o.O
Unless they decided to make Canadian variants Snapdragon to make roaming in the US easier...in which case, omg, I better not end up with a bootloader locked Snapdragon phone!
For all those boohooing about the iris scanner, think about this little tidbit. When you're sleeping at night (or any time) and your girlfriend suddenly has the urge to unlock your phone using your finger (because she knows you're soft and she thinks her crazy levels are lower than hers) she can do it. What's the likelihood that aomeone can pry your lids open and not wake you? So, seeing that I've broken it down in a way nerds with no girls can now understand, YOU'RE WELCOME! Oh, and for saying Nokia did it first on Lumia and whatever.......no one really buys those, sooooooo we wouldn't know, but thank you Nokia and whoever else supposedly did it before. Also thanks to Volvo for the safeties we now enjoy, someone had to be first.

I wish this was just a rumor, I don't think the Iris scanner will be practical, especially since there is a fingerprint scanner already.
Well in the start up otdoessay galaxy note 7 not note 7 edge meaning there will be a flat screen version
efeeyuboglu, 14 Jul 2016Well, in my opinion this surely looks impractical. Why?
-You always need to position the phon... moreYes, fingerprint scanner is way more practical!
I think they feel the need to add more functionality every time...

lets hope the scanner really works , or have to wait "other" to copy so samsung can copy it back the works one ...
Well, in my opinion this surely looks impractical. Why?
-You always need to position the phone correctly.
-Your phone uses iris scanner + front camera for unlocking = more battery drain.
But it's an additional security gate which is somewhat useful to some users maybe.
Fujitsu already using the Iris scanner more than year ago
and it works amazingly
