Sweet. Microsoft means business this time. And they r going to speed through their competitors and spat on their faces. Man. waiting more phone to come up with wm7. I've never been WM fanboy, but this surely impresses me n makes me feel like dumping my nokia loyalty, as they are now able to come up with phone with good specs as compared to thier competitors. eg. N8 or E7 compare it to SGS. specs n features. Nokia needs to load up its h/w specs & should adopt wm7 or Android. otherwise they r fighting a losing battle.
any how way-to-go WM7. good luck.
            cheers.

Windows mobile 6.5 allowed htc to fully customize the interface from home screen to menus and media players and a user had to go through heavy layers of the interface to actually notice that he is using windows mobile. Sadly the uniqueness will be highly reduced and it will be a bit hard to distinguish phones running the same os from different manufacturers but on the upside any updates issued by microsoft will be quickly available to users without any delays since the phone companies (htc, samsung,lg)wouldn't have to integrate the whole updates with their ui

Very nice. I think the 3D animation are pretty good and they will not be annoying to me, as i have a life outside of tapping on the phone all the time.

I don't fell the need to look at the detailed weather every 5 minutes. 3D Animation on apps like notebook and weather is fine, no normal person actually use these apps all the time.

HTC know what the are doing. They will add shorter animation for frequently used apps like in their WinMo Sense UI.

I have no idea where this whole Windows Phone is not customizable thin came from. Windows has always been the customizable friendly OS on the market.

Like most other OS it is not customizable right out of the box, you download Roms or tweeks yourself from something like SPB mobile shell or XDA developers etc.

Runs smooth. Clearly most the idiots who think this suck don't understand the concept of a demo ie this is what we could have with the weather. Imagine games, pictures and movies, plus the ability to actually make money, other than that crappy apple store that let's face it; half of you so called 'iFans' straight away rip off apple by jailbreaking your phone as soon as it leaves the box. Laughable!

And to be honest, I'm already satisfied with HTC Sense on Android. HTC will lead phone innovation, as so many people think iPad and iPhone4 suck already!

In my opinion there is way to much 'eye-candy' for the phone to function productively, I dont want to go through that whole process to take a note or check the weather interstate.
