AnonD-563224, 22 Jul 2016why no galaxy nexus. This is not right :(There is a Galaxy nexus actually, released in 2011
AnonD-525365, 22 Jul 2016I think someone used Update, an app that uses root access that allows you to change the device... moreI have a Nexus 6. This does not look like my Nexus 6 at all, although it does look big.
Looks bigger than 5.5" to me, more like 6".
Also, that top bezel...where is it?? If this packs a 6" screen in a body the same size as a normal 5.5" phone, I'll be all over this.
This image seems to conflict with the previous renders that were released by Android Police.
AnonD-535695, 22 Jul 2016Isn't that what everyone wants? Bezel-less as much as possible?Absolutely yeah! Smaller the bezel the better. Just wondering if it's a false leak because as 'veryangrynerd' pointed out, it doesn't seem to be a normal design for a Nexus. But having seen the sharp aquos crystal, it might be possible that they're going through a design change... Anyway who knows.. I've been keeping my Nexus 5 for almost 3 years now and can't wait for the new one.
AnonD-188372, 22 Jul 2016Google being very kind to HTC and giving them probably their last chance of staying alive,HTC'... moreThis is a sure Samsung fanboy. Go troll somewhere else.
Why Google doesn't choose Samsung?
Bcos no dual front speakers, depends too much of Touchwiz which lags terribly, poor build quality, introduced too much useless gimmicks like iris scanner, heart rate sensor etc and poor lousy unprofessional customer service.
Why Google choose HTC?
Bcos HTC have much more experience and HTC produces the first ever Android phone.
I think someone used Update, an app that uses root access that allows you to change the device model, android version and build number, probably some fake picture of a nexus 6
AnonD-279118, 22 Jul 2016Theres no new navigation buttons as rumored! It's running beta software though.
AnonD-322352, 22 Jul 2016Uhhh the 6p has a 3450mAh battery...I stand corrected, I guess I overlooked that recalling how subpar 6p was for the battery endurance I genuinely thought it had gimped battery. Huawei must have used the most low grade OLED panel they could find, doze didn't do anything for that phone.
Because this is HTC this might be better made, however it remains to be seen.
This thing doesn't even look like a phone. The screen goes all the way up to the edge of the phone. I don't think I've seen a phone like that before. Where is the speaker on top?
Google being very kind to HTC and giving them probably their last chance of staying alive,HTC's own phones don't sell well,so their blowing that another pair of nexi will generate some income, they won't,it just means that HTC will have to concentrate more of their limited capability on keeping these new nexi updated etc, meaning that their awful record of non-updates for their own dross phones will get even worse.
I was a mad fanboy of HTC in the past, but not now, over priced, every new model always has one major compromise where they cut back on hardware to try and make a profit even though they charge premium prices for their kit,HTC shot themselves in the head again with the bodged M10,am waiting to see the real first quarter sails for it,because it's going to be another disaster I reckon...
HTC have too many problems to list beret, but they are on their last few cha ces of avoiding bankruptcy or face a take-over,their desperate that be actuay turns out to be a thing, but it's going to be as successful as the last big flop that was going to change the world,3d tv,turned out to be a niche market that has generated hardly any sales or profits for anyone, and I reckon that's the same problem 've is going to face, all the rage with everyone for 18 months, then rapidly vanish except for niche users..in industry/education,'ve has a good argument, for day to day use by the public, almost zero, and early versions will be pricey, not very good and will put lots of folk off the whole idea,so will flop..
