Uhm... If you have this phone you probably have a data plan. So you should always have power. Where i am from the whole grid doesnt go down?

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2016How is a 3500mah battery (if thats the actual capacity) smaller than a 3000mah battery (the No... moreThe point he is making is that the S7 Edge has a 5.5 inch display with a 3600mAh battery, while apparently the Note 7 with a bigger display and bigger physical body size only has a 3500mAh battery. Now this is where it gets interesting. The Note 5 and S6 Edge + both have 3000 mAh batteries. So given the S7 Edge has a smaller screen than the S6 Edge + but the battery size has increased from 3000 to 3600 we could realisitcally expect a 3700 or 3800 mAh battery. 3500 is erring on the side of small based on pure stats and previous phones. Of course things are never that simple and straight forward but I can see the logic on the face of it.
Tcool, 24 Jul 2016Therefore, no need for SD card. What happens if by any chance you have a power blackout? No Internet, no cloud.
What happens if by any chance you drop your phone and you smash it and you don't have SD card? Bye bye data.
What happens if you get your phone wet and becomes a brick?
For any of the situations above, an SD card will save your azz.
Paying a ton of money on high-end smartphones that don't have an SD card slot is simply stupid.
Quit having that isheep mentality. Even Sammy realized you need an SD card.
And now, releasing that new type of SD cards simply prooves it is something you definitely need. At least for tech people who don't want to loose their data.
Also, if you have rooted your phone, you can flash ROMs straight from the SD card without the need of cables. Only newbies and non-technical ppeople will say SD cards are obsolete.
when samsung is not upto any further innovation then they should not fool people while relaunching the same thing.
Tcool, 24 Jul 2016Therefore, no need for SD card.Wrong again. I have 60+ GB of ebooks instantaneously on a microSD card. It's good to back them up on cloud. Uploading and downloading just 24 GB took more than a day with OneDrive. At best time I could get 500mbps to 1mbps, but it's usually some 100 to 200kbps.
Note.5 is designed with LTE Advanced or 5G in mind, if you want to go cloud all the way without memory expansion. Samsung failed to recognise the rest of the world is not like Seoul. Do you have 1gbps network speed? No.

Remember the outdated Note 3? Before it was really expensive, but now it drops more than below half of its launching price.
So don't worry, this is business.

It is not a headphone, it is a Bluetooth speaker.
And it is not 5GB LTE data, that is not enough for me, I need unlimited LTE data.
I still have my Note 5 for S-pen use only but sooner will upgrade to Note 7 with Gear IconX bundled.

I could do the same things you mentioned with 40℅ battery remaining , without having to deep discharge and ruining the battery.
10 hours play back on your Bluetooth headphones? 5 GB on LTE? Finally got rid of 3000mAh Note.5? Or that you still take it out just so you can fit in with others pretentiously?

You do realize that pretty much everything on Samsung's Touchwiz can be removed?
Stick to Sony or Huawei if you prefer useless specs and cheap built, if you don't like Samsung's high quality (btw, i'm a person who went from iphone 5 to lg g3 to s7 edge and samsung is by far the best phone i ever owned)...
That being said, i would prefer 4000mAh on this phone...

Iris Scanner, Fingerprint Sensor, Sealed Battery, Physical Front Panel Button, Same Old Design, Same Old TouchWiz, Slippery Body Panel: The Seven Issues that need a refurbishment.
In our country, everyone of the Middle-Upper Age (45-60) use spectacles or Contact Lenses. Having an Iris Scanner is a Con.. As many of them do not use it.
For those people who work in Bhilai Steel Plant or Orissa Cements, the Regular deposit of Fine Dolomite on the physical button will tend to clog it.
When something is bought at 70,000 they must be assured of convenience of a user replaceable battery. People will have no other go than to discard the whole phone if there is any issue with the battery. Cases may arise while talking, the phone battery gets heated up and sometimes explode.. boom..
No Change in Physical Appearance.. Apple and Samsung..
TouchWiz.. The Worsest Ever.. Got Vexed.. Thought Atleast Samsung could bring a Core Android User Interface.
So What is so fascinating about SGN7..?
Tcool, 24 Jul 2016You cannot use heavy LTE because as you mentioned, you don't have stable 4G network. Otherwise... moreWrong big time.
On a good day, I can get UP TO 20GB on LTE. I do uploads for OneDrive, and this particular event I was uploading some 24GB of eBooks and research PDFs. What you see above is a legit app called My Data Manager. That's not WiFi, that's via my LTE service that's indicated.
I will have it bundled with Samsung Gear IconX. So excited to have my new Note 7 and Gear IconX. Hoping for a dual SIM version with 64GB internal storage.
