Sebstin, 02 Aug 2016Now 5.2" phone is MINI?looking at mi max and honor note 8..5.5 will become in mini in the near future i guess
this should have been the redmi pro not the mini.and the mini should have used the sd 625. man xiaomi your going on the wrong track with that mediatek chipset.hope you will learn your lesson
whoa...come to india..the compact sized market has no competition here...5" and under is better than 5.2
This could very well be mi5i or Redmi pro if and when launched in india.
Excellent. I am happy that screen size is reduced a bit. It will be perfect for me. Small size= less battery power consumption. And Qualcomm is my favourite.
Why does every company takes "mini" in wrong direction they just just reduce the size not specs, if you want to lower the specs dont call it mini call it lite or lower edition or someyhing like that but not mini, it even misguide alot of people
Well, this one is specifically for Indian market since they can't lauch mediatek devices here. Hope to see it soon !!
Sebstin, 02 Aug 2016Now 5.2" phone is MINI?Maybe "mini" is refers to smaller specification level. Like dual camera to single camera.

I guess I have to postpone purchasing Xiaomo Redmi Note 3 and wait for this one. I hope it also has huge battery capacity.

It just indicates the size of your photo. The real quality depends upon lens, sensor size, aperture, and individual pixel size. So OEMs are concentrating on things that matter rather than blind MP race.
based that specs I think the "MINI" it just better than regular version.
If this is legit, it's all we asked for, a worthy successor of the excellent Redmi Note 3 Pro. This is how you do it Xiaomi, exactly like this. The only thing still missing is LTE 800...
Can anyone gimme explaination about why phones nowadays use smaller megapixels on camera ? Like samsung who use to use the 16MP but in s7 they use 12MP instead ... and all the new phones i looked only use 12 MP and 13MP ... is it the new 13MP/12MP which make the pictures much better than the 16MP ?
