how sad, they make s-lcd than super amoled becoz of the shortage of amoled pruduction .......bcoz samsung cant produce many amoled bcoz of lack of facilities and so many pre order from another company that use amoled and around 2011 will the complition of new amoled factory so,,, next year to buy another phone i content with my samsung wave
HI Yeah yeah 3.7" IS the Perfect Size No Arguments and YES Bcuz Of Those Things That "maria" Said WE NEED "BADA Ver.2" BUt i say again 3.7" SAMOLED Not A SCLCD Unit AND MORE MP (i Wish It will Be A 12 MP).
The "Big screen" as they said its not so big look at Dell streak
(5'inc) & the OS not didn't rock
Some publications have criticised bada over the following issues:
The external sensor API is not open-ended, preventing new types of sensors or unexpected technology developments from being added in the future.
bada applications cannot access the SMS/MMS inbox or receive incoming SMS/MMS notifications
The bada application framework only allows one bada application to run at a time. Multitasking applications is possible between the native applications, which comes on phone system, and one bada application.
Some people have speculated that the smartphone market is too crowded to accept a new operating system
TOSHIBA, 04 Oct 2010Same resolution for the screen or they changed it ? Retina screen on wave 2 ? :DSame as my original wave
Hi i Think the First WAVE was Awesome only thing that was missed back there was a good 8 or 12 MP camera though the 5MP of first WAVE worth the 8 of X10 or VIVAZ (by SonyEricson) or Even Viewty Smart or Crystal (by LG) its a way ahead of them just compare Those With each other in GSMArena Reviews and then You'll see this 5MP camera Of WAVE is A HELL of a Camera on A Phone (Even better than Iphone4 in some aspects in my Idea) OK... This 0.4" More Display Ratio Is Welcome but don't worth a 200 bucks since its a "SCLCD" (i think it Means : Super Clear Liquid Crystal Diode Or Something Like This) anyway we Need First "BADA Ver.2" Then A more MP Camera (8 For Example) and ....and..... Oh the Other Things Are Really Awesome Nothing More Can Do it its already Perfect.............SAMSUNG Please SAMOLED + More MP Camera + BADA Ver.2 ON : SAMSUNG S9000 WAVE III........Thank YOu
............................THE ULTIMATE MIND.........................
How come you guys consider a 3.7" device more "high end" than the previous Wave?
How come you just not see it as "booooring", a bigger "Wave"??!
I am starting to doubt your professionalism
ah, too bad, already have the Wave... this one looks nicer imho, especially the menu button, and of course bigger screen... BUT, no more SAMOLED? how lame... and now, if I buy Wave II with LCD, Samsung will release Wave III in a few months again with SAMOLED or what? Wave II would be perfect if the screen was SAMOLED...
Same resolution for the screen or they changed it ? Retina screen on wave 2 ? :D
i agree its like moving back. . . .from s.amled to s.lcd :-(
i wanted to see more s.amoled from samsung. . . .
Unreliable manufactu, 04 Oct 2010Since Galaxy S went on sale June it has just been 2 months. Now it's over. I was just about... moreWhy "No Way". GalaxyS still have version 2.1 and will update as soon as end this year!. X10 still use version 1.6 and don't know exactly time released ver 2.1. If you like version 2.2 you can update test version for GalaxyS. I think that you can get more exp.
likely Samsung will suddenly drop Bada support sometime in the near future. Not interested
Since Galaxy S went on sale June it has just been 2 months. Now it's over.
I was just about to order one for Christmas, was waiting for Android 2.2 update, but now no way.
I won't risk investing in the toys of a manufacturer that's been abandoning their phones so quickly leaving the users without support.
No way. Once more to make a point: NO WAY.
3.3 screen on the first wave is good enough there is no point to give more money for 0.4'' by the way samsung will you support bada os the next 2-3 years or we will cry our money after bying i8910 and other samsung symbian phones?
The direct competitor in this price range is the Nokia C7... I'd take it anyday over this.
I have the Galaxy s and think its fantastic. The wave is also. We sell out of both all the time. Samsung have done a great jobmixing hi-tec and ease of use, which is what alot of customer really want. The iphone 4 still is the fastest seller, but that is by default, the galaxy and the wave are a better series of phones by far.
the true answer about the super amoled shortage. but a successor? NO, it's just the same. choose between screen size and LCD haha oh btw, s8500 are being sold out from the stores.
