Android has many brand like Samsung mmx Karbonn lemon mi Lenovo gionie n many more and these are not high end sets only s series n note series in Samsung n nexus r high end else all r mid or low end phones so in India middle class people search cheap mobile maximum Upto 15 k and apples mostly prefers by who have more money and all iPhones are high end of particular year n only 1 or 2 device Apple launch per year n iPhone will never be cheap as it has class n repo so it's not shocking dat android dominate market but iOS is much smoother . iPhone 7 will cost not less then 50k as 16gb model not coming so it's ok Apple is dominating in rich people . Rich people prefer iPhone not android
how ironic only apple sales increase in india and other hand anroid is most os used.
curious , 06 Aug 2016Someone wrote about cow worshipping and you stated talking about world economy. This reply is ... moreOh still you did not read that someone's post lol.
See this is the issue...did you read what that guy said in continuation of that.. Very bad sir... You need to read well first.
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2016Are you sure cause most of the times it's their PM pleading companies to open their factories ... moreYes sir.. We are sure.. Tim Cook still wants to open all the stores in India, especially in the major cities of India where people can afford anything. You guys need to grow up and understand that there's a reason why India is called a superpower..
KSouth, 06 Aug 2016Indians are smart.Wonder why they're the country that has the most android phones infected by malwares..
Ankitm, 07 Aug 2016Agreed. I like iOS and Windows mobile 10 more than Android. I rather not spend time to manage ... moreI always used Android with root, never used any antivirus and never ever got any virus or malware on my phones!
BlazyB, 06 Aug 2016Interestingly enough companies like Oppo, Samsung, lenovo, etc are selling bucket loads of $30... moreThe average selling price for a smartphone in India is $200. What data are you using to showing so many $300-900 phones being sold?
Also, you open factories in India for the cheap labor and to avoid government tariffs. Loads of retail stores? They're opening a whopping 3, all in rich areas. They are still not targeting the average Indian. The disposable income is just not there.
M.G, 06 Aug 2016Where the hell is that coming from? Do you even live in india or have you visited here atleast... moreWell said! I agree you guys are on the same page as me! I'm a NZER and hate Craapple too. Android all the way
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2016Follow the herd? Since when is joining the 2% following the herd instead of the 97%? You guy... moreAgreed. I like iOS and Windows mobile 10 more than Android. I rather not spend time to manage my phone (ram and antivirus) but do something more productive. Love my 950XL and iPhone 6s.
I do hope that MS gets it right now on phones else we have to come to see less and less innovation. 3rd major player is what we need and probably continumm can provide the next disruption if MS gets it right.
Anonymous, 06 Aug 2016we spend around 15 million dollars per launch. How much does your country spend per launch( in... moreI don't know how much the UK spends. (And I'm from the UK)
The problem I have is the government can spend millions on rockets to send to space but can't feed their own citizens... Embarrassing
