TC, 09 Oct 2010No, you are wrong, Android is the only OS that will survive into the futera and all "bugs... moreNo.
I *really* want this to work because I really love the desktop version of Firefox along with its addons, professional approach to design, innovation and etc. but this beta is pretty unusable on the Milestone. It's heavy on the internal memory, heavy on loading times, laggy, leaks memory, and so on. Even if it was lightning fast, I need to uninstall important software so it fits in my Android memory.
So really, if I feel like looking into it, skip into next version.
perse, 10 Oct 2010eats 40MB from memory! the desktop version does not consumes that much!Urm desktop versions consumes between 100mb and 250mb when open with about 4 tabs on mine
Yeah agree bro..right now the best browser is dolphin or dolphin hd. But i barely can't wait google chrome browser, hehehe..
Tested on Nexus One. Definitely need much more improvement as it loaded much slower compare to the default and dolphin.
Tested with my samsung galaxy s yesterday. It working superbly. The only thing that bother me, even i've open a single tab, it consume 50mb of RAM..huhuhu.. =O
Please Mozilla...don't even bother developing this on Android. It was so lousy.

does it can be released for symbian^3 or 4 in feature????
becoz symbian have new ram management system like virtual ram.
Hmm lemme ask a stupid question... Ive heard programming on maeomo is cross platform, so can they also release a version for s60v5 devices? :S
I have a HTC Desire and I wanted to try this.. but ITS SO FREAKING HUGE that I can't delete enought apps to install it. Pretty epic failure on the Mozilla side. Anyhow I use the Dolphin HD and all works so well on it that I dont't even need a nother browser.
crashes on my samsung i5801. doesnt start
Crashes on my wildfire, wont even start :(
TC, 09 Oct 2010No, you are wrong, Android is the only OS that will survive into the futera and all "bugs... moreand bada may contend android bcoz it has cheap pricing offering and many people will buy it especially in developing country so it will grow in fast ....and the first bada firmware 1.0 is so speed than android 1.5 and i0s 1 . . . . .
Tested on my Samsung Galaxy S...it's to sloppy, doesn't load fast gsm arena pages as samsung own browser.
Crashes on my Samsung i5500.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2010android sucks full of bugs and it will vanish in the coming years. No, you are wrong, Android is the only OS that will survive into the futera and all "bugs" will be fixed as the Android OS is quickly evolving.
Windoes Phone 7 and iOS and Symbian will all be "dead" within 3 years. MeeGo can maybe become the only contender, but it still hasn´t been "born" yet. Both Android and MeeGo are based on Linux, the most stable OS of all.
