it doesnt work on my HTC Hero which is running Elilinux Froyo 2.2. also it takes about 18mb of memory which is way too much than any other Android app. the best browser is Dolphin HD and Opera Mini for Android. there is no point releasing any firefox, firefox is at its best only in Desktop.

MicroB is the best till the date, flash support, adblock support, that's a lot for a mobile, but if it's real the nokia n8 will get similar browser then I'll like it! It's very good browser really.
MicroB is the default Nokia N900 or Maemo 5 browser!

just been using it. iits well made, excellent user interface with the side tabs and bookmarks. but still buggy. keeps shutting down and also painfully slow.

Moni, HTC Hero user, 08 Oct 2010Default Android Browser is the best for all Android Power devices including Eclair 2.1 Version... moreAndroid can't be best simply due to poor zooming abilities and lack of sessioning support (page reloads when switching between tabs, apps etc). Dolphin (which is an extension to Android browser - UI replacement with improved functionality) offers a lot more - better interface, sessioning etc. Still it lacks of good zooming abilities.

Opera has best interface, sessioning and zooming. But only mini available at the moment.

Dolphin HD is best at the moment. But Opera Mobile will most probably beat it when out.

Default Android Browser is the best for all Android Power devices including Eclair 2.1 Version. why we need a browser than cant play flash content & require lots of memory?

Flash contents well run on 2.1 Eclair Android Default browser. Moreover, if you want to install a deffrent third party browser then it should be "DOLPHIN HD" or if want to sharfing in low cost then you can chose "OPERA MINI 5 or Higher Ver...."

But, In my point of view default browser is enough as well as best of all Android Power Devices. However, its rest of your choice to install diffrent browsers which you like.
