Damage has already been caused to the Customers by selling crap handsets like Satio and x10, now what do they expect will the customer buy their handsets again?
Personally I curse myself for keeping faith in SE and for buying worst device like Satio.

SE launched this phone 2 weeks ago in the netherlands...it costs 229 in a big, well known electronica store. Grtzz from amsterdam!!

I bought this phone last saturday from the O2 high street shop for £129. For a low end Android I think the phone is fine. The only comparable phone I've seen out there on cost is the Orange San Francisco (£99) but I think the X8 looks nicer in my opinion. Yes the HTCs are better phones, but on pay as you go they cost quite a lot more. My tariff is only £10/month so I begrudge paying £20-30p/m for a 'free' phone tied to a 24 month contract.

what s the whole point launching an outdated product. i had so much high hopes form X10, hardware wise and feature wise it is still unbeatable but the donut let it down big time. SE why are you doing this to your reputation? you have already lost so much market value and with this you make it even worse. it is not Android 2.2 time, 3.0 is in the making. you are promising 2.1 which is still outdated.

They are going from bad to terrible, sure the phones are rea... moreTo be more [recise, this company doesn't know how to majke handset with Android 2.0 or higher as of Oct 2010 (still), even its "flagship" model costing over US$600 is still running on 1.6, so what do you expect?
BTW, Huawei Ideos (certainly not idiot in this case!) costs about the same as X8 but already runs on 2.2.

Hey guys take it easy. This is not a high end phone so there is no problem releasing it with 1.6
I mean even some of the new moto and samsung phones are still released with 1.5 or 1.6 android. So if it's not a high end phone it's acceptable.
Any way in case of x8, I think it's good. Because even though this is a middle end phone but it will still get upgraded to 2.1 very soon.

What a joke ¡¡¡ still with 1.6?
SE really need to be serious with the android. 1.6 sounds too much outdated. If the future upgrade to 2.1 is too close then why are releasing it with 1.6 in the first place? Bad move again! It can hold back too many buyers!
