Android user100, 12 Aug 2016Hey Samsung engineers have optimized note 7 and given 4 gb ram and selling it for 900$, you ar... moreYou said people by Samsung for optimization ? TouchWiz is a poorly optimized skin, most Samsung phones run faster without it, Samsung always overhype their new phones as the best thing ever even when its obvious to everyone that it's not, I have no problem with LeEco adding 8gb ram to their phones but i know it's unnecessary and only serves to give superiority in a psychological sense but has no real improvement on the performance of the phone, LeEco should increase battery capacity of their phones which will be more beneficial to us than an 8gb ram.
PenBruh, 11 Aug 2016O-o? LOL, 4GB of ram now is like "You woot m8"?Such RAM, much processing, so much wow
PenBruh, 12 Aug 2016Nope, hence why the OnePlus One was vastly superior back then to the S5 and alikes of it. Clea... moreWTH? I don't recall mentioning OnePlus One, I only agreed with the other guy that 2014 flagships still runs smooth with 2GB RAM, my mom have a Galaxy S4 with an SD600 and 2GB RAM which I flashed the Albe95 LolliROM, it's based on the official Lollipop firmware from Samsung, with features and design from the S6, S7 and Note5, and guess what, it's ultra smooth, even tho it's still TouchWiz.
LeEco has almost cheapest phones, but still price for Le 2s goes up to 500 dollars, maybe even 600 dollars, there is just no way to get it under 500 dollars anyway with high specs like that.
Xdadevet, 11 Aug 2016EUI does suck, and I would never have considered a LeEco phone if it wasn't for the Xposed mod... moreThank you for yours informative words.
I was thinking in buy one lee 2 max and do exactly this, install xposed and replace the launcher.
At least Xiaomi is one of the few Chinese brands still keeping their dong down, keeping their heads up, staying true to their words of continuing their goal of producing affordable devices, and keeping it real on pricing their devices. It suggests they know their position in the market. Growth in some markets for Xiaomi might be slow compared to their fellow competitors including Huawei and Oppo but Xiaomi can keep up. It's not like they haven't done trebuchet-ing themselves from 'What's a Xiaomi?' to 'Oh, top vendor, I see' before
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2016Wow it is S7 Edge Killer.Even the HTC 10 is already a S7 edge killer.
Wonder, 11 Aug 2016No it's not. Early implementation of tech trends are far from being a determining factor of wh... moreHey Samsung engineers have optimized note 7 and given 4 gb ram and selling it for 900$, you are buying it right for the same price because you care optimization.
Might as well through in 20 core processor and 8k super ultra mega amoled and some liquid ice cooling.
And don't forget to put a shi**y 500 mah battery.
Nowadays, increasing ram or screen resolution is absolutely useless, so why not keep bumping up battery capacity?
Julliard, 12 Aug 2016And lower their price and slap 6000mah battery and put 10 deca cores. What else you want? A su... moreSucks in real life? Chinese phones day to day performance is almost that of stock android. Its not a matter of pricing, its just the reality in which we live. Premiumly expensive phones arent meant to be and probably wont be in the next 5 years, if the Chinese keep making the stakes higher.
cozxta, 12 Aug 2016In fact even those flagships with 2GB RAM still runs smooth!Nope, hence why the OnePlus One was vastly superior back then to the S5 and alikes of it. Clean software and more ram, made it light years faster than the terribly optimized touchwiz of old.
The battery, only battery! What is a cell phone? Laptop or phone? CPU, RAM, memory ... no! The answer is: the battery! The purpose of a mobile phone is the freedom of movement ... a minimum of 3-4 days or one week! Do not! We have machines that we have to charge every day! Technological disasters! The point mobility is the battery life. The biggest minus today in the global supply chain.
Still it barely compits with iphone 6s 2gbram, for ram managment. No deal 8gb ram in frt of iphone 6s

What else you want? A superphone that is great on paper but sucks in real life. Do you even use LeEco? Yeah, that the kind of question you would throw at me. All I want to say is that LeEco not even a popular brand. Don't even exist in my country. LeEco? Thats what all my friends ask. What the hell is LeEco? Nobody knows it except tech geeks and China.
These phones keep on increasing the ram and cpu which is a good thing but why not increasing the battery life of these phones by 30 or 50 percent, it's like most of these phone manufacturers are not bothered about that, 8gb ram is quite unnecessary for a phone even in 4yrs time, I will prefer LeEco to increase their battery capacity rather than their ram.
divis200, 11 Aug 2016I hope that one day we'll have as much ram as storage. That way phone could load almost everyt... moreEUI does suck, and I would never have considered a LeEco phone if it wasn't for the Xposed module for EUI. With it you can get back the stock lockscreen, statusbar, notification tray, and overwiew/recent apps. The are custom ROMs based on EUI (with good translations, debloated and slightly better optimised) and combined with Xposed and Nova Launcher I don't really see a reason to overlook them anymore.
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2016Forgot to mention every single SoC cpu upgrade is welcome that's the way of how new tech works... moretrue, the SD 821 is also welcome i hope this kinda phones (that hopefully are a bit more affordable than some flagships) and the company starts building up to compete the mayors ^_^ cheers
