I do believe you never owned an HTC phone. I for one have never had a HTC phone go bad yet even with all this blowing sand in Iraq.So if you have a broke HTC phone you broke it yourself by doing something stupid. HTC is a good company & make great phones. I just wish they come out with a windows 7 phone with a card slot that's the only thing I have a problem with.

Maybe Microsoft should answer these concerns from the Public community worldwide & work on including the following, add, fixing, improving. Here are just a few I can think of feature which are missing currently in release firmware.

copy & paste (Engadget poster say might be inc in Ver2 WP7 OS! (Maybe)!
        multitasking (No Word of inclusion)
MicroSD support (No Word of Inclusion)

Otherwise I should think WP7 phones from HTC won't look very attractive to people when they find out what the hardware actually misses & what the software misses much like Apples IOS.

The hardware & software features mentioned should be included as standard. Most people, especially tech geek, enthusiasts, audiophiles, gamers, will all ask for these things. Who's with me on this?

My next phone will be the TMOUSA “MyTouch 4G” and to all you TMOUSA HD2 owners, who want to do your HD2 like mines. Personally, I will ever buy any other phone than a HTC. They are fantastic, quality, looks etc.

As far as Windows goes, I love MS, BUT I thin kit is too little, too late. Even WP7 is very far behind Android, and lacks features WM6.5 had.

For that reason, if I have to upgrade from my HTC HD2, I will go HTC Desire HD, or whatever Android version there is in the future. No more Windows Mobile for me.

I think that the true measure of theses WinMo 7 phones(aside from trying to steal market share from Apple and Android) will be how the consumer receives the new operating system. If this OS does not appeal to the average person more than IOS4 or Android these phones will remain in a niche market.I find it ironic that in this era of multitasking or Flash versus those that are without , Microsoft has decided to follow Apples lead.[for better or for worse] The true benefit for the consumer will be more fish in a shrinking pond struggling for survival.

much impressed with HTC-Mozart and HTC-Surround. Its too bad HTC couldn't get a keyboard-WP7 out at this time.

Nine new WinMo phones and Microsoft will spend half a billion dollars in advertising and promotion.

These will eat into Android and RIM sales, and will kill Nokia's N8.

The iPhone shouldn't be affected so much, they established this trend three years ago.
