I'm getting my Note7 in 3 days WITH memory expansion, WATER-RESISTANCE, the BEST camera on a mobile with more UI ease, iris scanner, better battery management, and EVERYTHING else what a Note.5 can do without the S Pen silo design flaw.

price is king. i want the pen of the note series, couldn't care less about the curve
Savre, 15 Aug 2016Id much prefer a flat screen. As I feel I would brake the edges and theyre hardly a curve anyw... moreWell, yes. But the improved camera is also real nice.
But the questionnaire is missing an important option: Yes, I want a flat version because it's more durable and doesn't require stuffing in an ugly case.
And to avoid accidental touch registers of course as well.
The reason i hate samsung and blackberry's dual edge is the questionable usefullness of it. The curves belong to the main screen and they are curved outside, thus anything full screen will result in images or texts curved toward the outside, and losing views. Also, those edge swiping features shouldn't be exclusive to dual edge phones as it's basically a side sweep as seen in webos and bb os previously, and doesnt require edge screens. To anyone who will reply to this msg, please be intelligent and remember that curved tvs (including those from samsung) are curved inside for improved viewing angle. Imagine the tv curving on the outside...even the best ips screens will not be able to compensate the viewing angle.
Why is this question still alive anyway? Samsung decided to release just a curved screen note 7 and nothing else. You don't like it? Then talk with your money and get something else! No one cares about your whining here or on any thread.
Don't want to buy any notes period. These phones are good for folks who don't have laptops at home.
Savre, 15 Aug 2016Id much prefer a flat screen. As I feel I would brake the edges and theyre hardly a curve anyw... moreI also use a note 4 and I Feel uncompelled to upgrade to the new Note 7 Cos I also have an S7 Edge and its no different to S4 to be honest Just Slightly faster Chipset and reduced gimics like air comand for example and also lacks the IR blaster from the S4 and the touted memos on the A0D well that is just not Much different Cos on note 4 u can so do the Same Just Pull out the Pen When its locked and boom U Jump Straight into action memo. So I feel that its all about Marketing not actual Value Sold when it Comes to Sammy this days 8)
ps. on note 4 for enhanced lockscreen action memo u need to be running android 6xx and have the feature enabled in settings.
the Poll questions are an insult to the readers or "participants" as the choices force voters to Claim to like the device in question. kind of builds instant dislike Of the brand Offering the device and the phone, never mind the editor Cos clearly shows no regard for readers and just Wants to Keep writing them puff piece editorials and putting a halo over an unWorthy device -_-
Id much prefer a flat screen. As I feel I would brake the edges and theyre hardly a curve anyway, paying extra for a gimmick I don't care about, I don't need an iris scanner either. Love the Note range had the first through to the 4th which I have now, which is fantastic and by far in my opinion the best phone on the market and I have used a lot of them as I sell phones. All the Note 4 needed was an IP rating.

Thanks again my brother ..
This survey is just plain stupid, the reson behing people wanting flat screen is that the space on actual screen is wasted for shortcuts on the edges that are already on the home screen. Plain stupid idea. Attention whores like that but its not usefull at all.
