Why cant i just choose NO? I dont want or need it. Happy with my current phablet tbh.
If there were two variants, the cost of each would essentially go up (scales of production).
What I know is an issue for me (even though I have not seen one 'in the flesh'), is, if I have to put a case on it anyway, then doesn't that nullify the edge,.. and will make it difficult to touch.
I generally put a case over any phone that has a lens bump.
I think I would prefer phones have slide over lens caps, but I guess this is something that moves and therefore can fail.
I would have preferred the phone be .5mm thicker (the amount the lens juts out),. the extra internal space might allow design changes,.. which for me would have been 'keep wireless charging', suppose could add more battery. I would go a nice DAC and AMP (a first for Sammy in a while- I still have a Nexus S with a Voodoo mod, but the 800mhz chip has a hard time with lossless files/when running Voodoo sound).
Not one to vote; so whilst every logical part of my brain with regards to using this phone prefers the idea of a flat one.. I have spent so much time accepting it will be a curved, albeit minimally curved, screen,.. which shouldn't affect media files for widescreen movies,.. but anything full screen.. pretty sure there is a reason TVs attempt to be perfectly flat (reflecting less light sources from within the room).
I will probably find a nice svelte case for this thing.
I think the keyboard cover looks weird (online photos), and I do wonder what the lens cover (and lenses) will cost.?
Did just get a youtube vid sent to me for 'the first clear full screen tempered glass screen protector' for s7 edge.. and I guess this brand will do one for the Note 7.
Going to watch the video right ... now
[deleted post]I agree though. This poll is so weird, i wouldn't even call it manipulative, i'll probably call it incomplete haha.
AnonD-368020, 14 Aug 2016Note 7 should be priced around 700$. That would be quite attractive. It may very well be but Samsung off-late has realised that like Apple, it wants to hold its value to make it as a premium, desirable and value for money (not only functional but also in resale) !! They carefully, price it not to outpace their current line of flagship mobiles. Which in my opinion is the right thing temporarily but they still need to reduce the price substantially make it competitive, though they are selling in good numbers now a days.
Anonymous, 14 Aug 2016because it's not iphonebecause note7 it is not shit
I do not see the point of the 6GB of RAM except for bragging. 128GB is pointless since you can install a 256GB microSD card. Flat screen makes more sense for non-accidental triggers by palm skin, and for better protection from accidental drops with cases.
This is suppose to be the top tool of the Android Ecosystem. Instead, it's being positioned as a thing for you to be seen with. I appreciate the water-resistance, amazing new features, and bringing back memory expansion. Note.5 was a big failure for not having memory expansion, and 64GB was not available everywhere.
I want it because it does so much more than apples crappy iphone 7...
Because its the best note device? Competitive devices offer maybe more Mp but camera in note got no faults - it got all: great ui, manual possibilities, colors are great with almost no noise, its also fast and do not capture blurry images. Note is also great to hold and to use: curved design without edge is not just different and feels premium and new unlike other brands, its smooth to use, ita better than with using sharp edges. Note got great battery And endurance, a lot of sensors and pen.
I didn't have any of the note series but this time i'm going to try it.This time it has an ip68 certificate and that's a plus for me.
1) It again has glossy glass back (for some reason) which: a) makes a fragile feeling and b) is nowhere near the grip and feel of Note 3 fake leather and c) why would I want more glass surfaces in my phone anyway
2) Retina scan.
Okay, thanks, bye bye Samsung.
What stupid answers. The only reason I would have one is because it's new, and their last flagship was 6 months earlier. It brings no innovations, it's just an iterative update, like an iPhone S cycle.
No vote here either.

This is confusing. The question is do you want galaxy note 7.? But when i see the voting options. I conclude its only about Flat or edge screen.
I voted i love current design. Its georgeous, and i would like to say this is flagship not ordinary phone thats why it should looks different.
These threads are becoming irrelevant, full of jealousy and malice, one person came on here to mention he's waiting for an obscellescent phone release. This vote like the last s-pen one needs ignoring, someone maybe apple, seems to have paid to inlist Samsung fans, as betrayers, to give them free marketing advice, so they can put the features in their next phone, don't vote.
