[deleted post]2,4 inch display, 3.15 MP camera, smaller but heavier, 16GB max Storage, 120 MB internal Storage, no IP67, no Gorilla-glass, Symbian, and probably one hell of an outdated CPU/GPU + no DLNA...
A Qwerty keyboard and the longer standby times do not make up for everything the Nokia lacks compared to the Defy.
I hope you are joking man.
When will this ammunition will come to indonesia,,
Soon I hope
Probably the most ergonomic design .
Compare it with nokia n8 . I bet it is smaller than n8 with a bigger display . it is even better designed than htc hd2 who was the king of design.

well done moto
the phone can sink in water,, hope moto doesn't sink as its phone ^^v
btw nice looking phone...
I think price is reasonable given the phone is so rugged to the point being unmatched by anything else in the market, especially being a smartphone with touchscreen.
Personally I care relatively less about the other specs, as I would get a phone which I can bring to the swimming pool and shower room. (not sure about salt water though) Again nobody else offers anything like this at any other price.
Upgrade to 2.2 would be a "nice to have", but not necessary a must. Otherwise the phone might cost some US$50 more.

This is one of the reason the Milestone update and some other Moto Devices are taking long for an update to 2.2 I believe.
But with this specs Defy can be able to update Gingerbread? First, I saw the benchmark of this phone scoring better than Galaxy s and 512MB Ram, it like on the Droid x and Droid 2 which are able to run Gingerbread then we will find out in 1 week when Google will release officially Gingerbread and know the requirement on Defy possibility of getting Gingerbread.
I'm not sure if this device will be able to run future releases of Android, since Android needs a lot of processing power and RAM.
Decent specs, price is reasonable since like most Motorola phones, build quality should be top-notch.
I'm sufficed with 800 Mhz processor. But what I don't understand is why these manufacturers still launching phones with Android 2.1 !!!
C'mon you need to put latest Android version in your new offerings. Is that so very hard to execute ?
Other than that, this device is value for money in my opinion.
Good phone model new versaion name ...........
For 350 euro, this phone 1540 mAh, IP67 certified, 5 mp with led, DLNA, 512 mb RAM, Gorilla Glass display, 480 x 854 pixels, 3.7 inches,
You gotta be kidding!!!
350 Euro! Coooooool!
the best thing about this phone is it's size. 107x59mm most 3.7" phones are at least 120x60mm.
Its stats arent as good as most android handsets, and the addtional stuff on it like waterproof etc. Idont intend on putting my phone in water and wouldnt use my phone near water so kinda silly really, simple just dont play with your phone near water or drop it!!!!
Moto is so wonderful because Moto Defy is cheap compare to Galaxy s and Desire z which cost both in europe 500€ while Defy cost 350€ but have more options due to the IP-67 like waterproof and so on.
At The End, Moto will sell his phone like the popular Droid.
you are kidding as right?
overpriced lol this phone cost not over 220€ with these shitty spec !!!
Looking good
