will not make big difference cause xiaomi has very small userbase
Well, this might be a big hit for China (AFAIK AndroidPay may not, and currently does not work there, only ApplePay??), but i don't get why all these companies come up with their own 'Pay' system. Sure, money's good, but i don't want to have 3 apps that do the same thing... (I know you don't need 'em all, but still, you get the point)
I must admit that Samsung's payment feature works the best IMO (never tested it) as it works with all type of terminals. (Both NFC and the other one which i forgot what it was called)
I'm interested how well it's gonna work out for them.
Oh whatever next. "i" phone , "mi" pay ,its like somebody with the business class of a ghetto, where dave and janis get a fruit cart and call it davjan. Wouldn't let anyone who can't scrape past kindergarden naming mentality, handle my few bucks.
Can't see it really succeeding. Union pay (Visa of China) has mobile payments and a good chunk of people use it. There's also many other payments like Wechat pay and many more. If Xiaomi cannot market it well or cater it to its fan base, I can't see how this will succeed.
