[deleted post]Well...I'm using it, for the last 2 years as my secondary phone and the guy is pretty much right. I'm not saying MS doesn't do anything with it right now, but it's too little and too late for that. The 3rd party developer support is practically non-existent at this point, which leaves old apps broken and outdated, and there aren't any new exciting releases. They had their shot and they blew it. WP is not dead and may still be around, and it will never get any decent popularity which will make devs look the other way every single time. The idea was there, but like everything these days from Microsoft - it was very poorly executed.
AnonD-308243, 19 Aug 2016might as well call it a unicorn. this phone is a mythological creation it will never be launch... moreWe have one of these in our office on demo from HP so they're definitely going into production.
I am just curious... why and how would Microsoft push the HP Elite release... shouldn't it be HP to do the honors :)
might as well call it a unicorn. this phone is a mythological creation it will never be launched always getting pulled back and delays on its launch, why even bother with it its hardware was top tear and now its about to be outdated before it launches. -_-
why bother with WP anymore?
It has almost shrunk to zero market share and shrinking further.
All major app makers left and right are cancelling / stopping their support for WP.
All the company people I talk to are talking that this is their last batch of WP phones. They are fed up and done with it.
The HP Elite X3 will sell really badly and it will be the swan song of WP.
