I doubt whether it's gonna see Froyo (let alone Gingerbread 3.0) anytime soon. The X10 has barely enough RAM for Eclair.

Saw this phone at a preview with Sony Ericsson (work for phone company) before it came out and a really nice phone.
Really glad they managed to finally get this sorted and like GSMArena said,it is quite a big upgrade (despite 2.2 already being out but hey! I reckon this will come about alot quicker this time for Sony -they took a HUGE risk delaying this after all their issues)

se fan, 15 Oct 2010better than nokia n8yep better than n8 this update adds some 4 megapixels on the camera and adds some xenon flasgh too and increases the camera sensor's size wow it even adds a hdmi out port and usb on the go features

this is a good sony ericsson comeback!
this will make Sony Xperia able to compete with other high end phones..
nice feature...makes me considering to buy it....bcause have 720p..
