Mr. Nobody, 23 Aug 2016Well, if we'll go down to a memory lane and have a little flashback. Its safe to say that LG a... moreDoing things first for the sake of it doesn't have value. And half of those things aren't even true. Its not the first with nougat, its the first to offer nougat out of the box, and it wasn't the first with a qhd display.
More importantly, things like that are natural progression, stretching their neck out to do it first doesn't mean they had changed where the market was clearly going anyway.
still doesn't look as beautiful as vanilla Android. Look at that huge navigation buttons though :(
Well, if we'll go down to a memory lane and have a little flashback. Its safe to say that LG always wanted to be the first in technology on mobile division for example. They introduced the first ever dual core smartphone at Optimus 2X, first 3D screen with Optimus 3D, G3 with the introduction of QuadHD panel so others adopted it as well as samsung. G4 with the introduction of manual control on camera photography. First modular design with G5, and the V10 first smartphone having a DAC support audio, dual front face camera, first video recording with manual control. And now first ever phone to have Android Nougat 7.0? So if LG keeps on innovating, we cant guess whats in store for us with V20 and other upcoming LG smartphones.
* Just dont forget to upsize the battery as well to ahm maybe 3,500 to 4,000 mah. That would be great. :-)
The phone's first and last update.
Will only buy just based on 3 wishes...
1) Removable battery
2) 5.7" screen
3) MicroSD card expansion
SDKforLumia, 22 Aug 2016What the efff! Again, no App drawer? Just install a custom launcher. No big deal . Issue fixed.
AnonD-82756, 22 Aug 2016Windows all the way LOL
Can LG comes out a flagship phone that has stylus like Samsung S Pen, and of course must retain its removable battery, microSD, SD SoC, improve its File Manager features?
Overpriced
Change to a oled panel paired with the 3000mah battery if you plan to leave the same mah capacity therefor battery life should be much better. Those lcd screens are power hungry especialy at maximum brightness.
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2016Just guess the meaning: Go to play store to get and install the lanucher which has app drawer...it's not about guessing, use a symbol the correct way if you want to be understood by other people
if bootloader is unlocked ill buy it.
Anonymous, 22 Aug 2016Play Store greater than Nova Launcher? or what? use the symbol properly YOU"RE WELCOMEJust guess the meaning: Go to play store to get and install the lanucher which has app drawer...
LG is better when it comes to deliver latest android versions unlike Samsung which unfortunately fails in this segment
AnonD-82756, 22 Aug 2016Windows all the way Yep,that's why Microsoft is loosing costumers for their phones :)
OK, LG, chance for you to get some of my trust back. Allow all variants to be unlocked, release necessary sources, provide updates for at least 2 years, and price this V20 thing of yours properly, and we may talk again.
Sincere regards,
LG's 2013 flagship users.
AnonD-185423, 22 Aug 2016Play Store > Nova Launcher
You're welcome! ;)Play Store greater than Nova Launcher? or what? use the symbol properly
YOU"RE WELCOME
There's nothing particularly substantial in nougat, and half of the things nougat brings are going to he given through the play store. Its not like lollipop and material design and art, and its not like marshmallow which brought doze and stuff. Note sure why I should be excited for it.
SDKforLumia, 22 Aug 2016What the efff! Again, no App drawer? LG G PAD X 8.0 came like that but then sent an update for that.. updated their launcher.
Props for LG for getting Nougat working so quick, but what good is it when it's saddled with their terrible skin and will get delayed security updates?
