We all know ios doesn't do real multitasking but only efficient task switching. Nothing earth-shattering here. Moving on.
AnonD-448401, 23 Aug 2016HAHA well said.ios and android are 2 different os so comparing them is not fair in my opinion.... moreIf you watch the YouTube video you will see that the iPhone 6s beat ALL Androids in its life cycle & that includes both variants of the Samsung S7.
Fandroids need to accept that even though the iPhone & iOS are not perfect that this is a worthy point to Apple.
No surprises here. The note 7 even losses out to the note 5 in some memory speed benchmarks.
As the guy who's planning to buy the Galaxy Note 7
I say congrats on the win for the iPhone 6s
I hope one day samsung will reach this performance and compete strongly
On previous versions of Android I could keep games and movies and music and... all actually running and at the same time hearing sound at the same time from all movies apps games and music... in the background, just as REAL multitasking should do, not just freeze apps... in the background! That was with far less ram, and ofcourse more lag but it was REAL multitasking!
That's just it though..ios just opens an app..then closes it. Of course it should be fast! It dosnt multitask at all! Android all the way for me!
AnonD-457389, 23 Aug 2016A small reminder that the note 7 is running at 4 times the resolution of the Iphone 6s.A small reminder that overall result is all that matters. Don't give me the $hit that Note 7 has higher resolution. Even HTC 10 and LG G5 has higher resolution and SD820 but they didn't performs this badly. Note 7 is simply a joke of a phone when it comes to performance.
This makes no sense at all as the time to open apps relies on the manufacture coding version most notably touchwiz slows down due to transitions therefore a pointless test how to measure speed
Note 7 performance is the joke of 2016. This phone lags, shutter and gets overheated. LMAO. http://www.xda-developers.com/with-the-note-7-samsung-still-delivers-embarrassing-real-world-performance/

Evilmaddoc, 23 Aug 2016With test like these you mus take account, that iOS and Android are fundamentally different. N... moreWell, there you have it. That is the reason why people like iphones a lot. It simply puts the user first in operating the OS. No ifs or buts. But android fanboys will never accept this fact.
But the point in the test is to compare the phone's and not the chips. You don't buy a phone for it's processor, you buy it for the speed so if the iPhone is faster (which it is) then in that respect the iPhone was won
aatif khan, 23 Aug 2016Well that is why Apple is loved by those who really know what it is to own an iPhone. Apple... moreAnd at twice the price, with cheaper display, cheaper battery, cheap looking huge bezels, and so on....considering OP3 as a current gen flagship
With test like these you mus take account, that iOS and Android are fundamentally different. Not getting all that resolution or optimization business. The main difference for a user is how OS deal with interface command, which are prioritized in iOS, while Android deals with all commands in similar manner. That's also, why "LAG" is built in to android and is visible after not touching your phone a while.
With this test, every time user touches the phone, iOS screems "user action, stop everything" and begins to full-fill the request, while Android is much more calm and user has to wait its turn.
first, Note's screen size is +1inch! and resolution is 3,6 TIMES! bigger in so it also affects the performance.
but everyone knows Android has worse "sleep/hipernation mode" for apps in the background than iOS. and this test proves it. and definitely iOS handles CPU/RAM better than Android.
However, I still use an old Samsung S3 with custom rom and many customisation and I have an iPhone 6S for my work. Yes, iOS is smooth, almost no "app is not responding" errors, but I prefer the full customisation of Android. Also, I had a Macbook for 4years, but know I stuck with Win10, so I'm no "fanboy", but personal preference from my own experience.
Just wondering if apple make iphone with 'that' specs. Such a waste
