I once used my friends mi device and I loved their ROM. It's feature rich
Marvin, 24 Aug 2016Yes, great, UI features are updated, but what about security patches? You are still stuck with... moreYou don't need to upgrade to next major version of Android just for security patched. And yeah, Xiaomi devices do get security patches.

Mohan, 24 Aug 2016The funny part is Xiaomi entered India with Mi3 and also it is their highest selling phone eve... moreWell said. Mi3 is their product in India and those bought their model should get this update. It is Mi3 and the faith shown by Mi3 cuatomers in India which took them so far. Yet Mi3 ( my best phone so far) is left behind. And i am very very disappointed!!! :-( :-(
new phones like redmi note 3 ,redmi 3 ,mi max ,mi5 should have got them on priority basis as they are 2016 phones, but typical xiaomi us gonna push the update very slowly and they wonder why they are not at the top of phone rankings
MIUI 8 - Most of the phones comes with android MM like mi3,mi4,mi5 etc. Only a few phones like redmi note 3gg(old model), etc are stuck with kitkat or lollipop
When for Redmi 3s prime
I am eagerly waiting plz Tel me any one ........
miui 8 update for RM3 - when it is expected to come to india ? secondly will it have marshmallow or still same lollipop ?
Arthur Ho, 24 Aug 2016Yeah same goes to me, I saw a lot them complaining why their phone still stuck on Kitkat or Lo... moreYes, great, UI features are updated, but what about security patches? You are still stuck with K or L
The funny part is Xiaomi entered India with Mi3 and also it is their highest selling phone ever across India and China. They ideally should have included Mi3 has one of the first mobile to receive updates rather than posting "future updates". The best selling phone gets the worst possible treatment. Paradoxical!
