Like, come where Apple Pay is already there! SPay is more versatile than APay since it does not require new equipment to accept it, since it uses both NFC (APay+ PayPass) and Magnetic Secure Transmission (chip readers or swipe). Also, a lot of phones supports it, from high-end (obviously) to middle-end.

As well biometric authorization... e.g. many banks now uses finger print scanner, but only accepts apple devices...
Obviously that is speculation, but I agree there must be somebody behind the scene trying to hinder Samsung efforts..
AnonD-137201, 24 Aug 2016It's interesting. I had to use it 2 times when I didn't have my credit card on me... One NFC ... moreYeah, that's true and NFC has been available on Brazilian card terminals for years now, because of some banks contacless cards, but it's simple to explain, just tell them to press 1 on Cielo terminals and go on with the transaction like they would normally do with credit/debit cards, the terminal will show "Insert the card or tap-to-pay", all Cielo terminals have NFC enabled and they're almost everywhere, if Android Pay was available in Brazil it would be widely accepted too...
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2016Yet isn't out in the UK, this was a main selling point for getting this phone for me and here ... moreIf you bought a Samsung flagship you wern't conned you bought the best phone the market had to offer. However like myself you have been disapointed this app has taken so long. What I have gleaned is that the Americans ( read..the same people who are glad to keep apple ahead of Samsung.) Visa or Mastercard, have thus far denied Samsung use of MST in the Uk, thus damaging the big advantage draw of their system to new users, and whilst this wrangle has gone on, good ol apple have been given their head start, the plan is, the longer this is kept up, the more of the Uk will have the newest machines, so people will not need to switch from apple to use Samsungs MST. You get to overhear a lot at the right time in the right coffe shop. Should have been simple, but looks like some one with unlimited money has pulled some strings. I suppose it also has a second benefit,( this bits just my own personal thought.) this serves as a vehicle to try and get the public angry with Samsung in an effort to stop a few of their phones selling, but app or no app , they're the best money can buy, right now, so, that part of the equation should not succeed.
Flossy420, 24 Aug 2016I'm afraid that it can be hacked Can it?Yes absolutely it can be hacked. I wouldn't trust it
Have a Samsung galaxy but use Android Pay, don't trust Samsung enough. Sorry Sammy

I had to use it 2 times when I didn't have my credit card on me... One NFC ... morehahaha u must feel really good when teaching them how to use it XD
probably in a couple of months or when it's used more often it'll be easier
Something i not understand.
Samsung Pay isn't available on my country,
When i go to Samsung Pay at play store it show not compatible instead showing not available on your country, look weird for me. Using A7 2016.
I had to use it 2 times when I didn't have my credit card on me... One NFC and one MST.
Used a bunch of other times just for fun.. haha
But people don't know how to use their terminals yet... I always have to explain...
Still not available in UK.. and that is the point.. You can have best tech around, but if you not going to make it available it is pointless..
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2016Isn't android pay basically the same? I've used it a few times in the UK on my G5Android pay or Apple pay can't be used on non-NFC outlets. Only Samsung pay can.
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2016I'm in the same boat brought the s6 edge only because of Samsung payIsn't android pay basically the same? I've used it a few times in the UK on my G5
