They are already overclocked to 3 GHz, the patch will be available soon but only up to 2.4 GHz will be safe. Stay tuned. If you speak Croatian, here: www.mobil.hr/novosti/motorola/overclock-do-ludila-3782

You can do that for free! Over at XDA just root your phone and flash a custom kernel, also you need root access for this app/

Interesting you can do that, I didn't think it was possible, of course if you want a little bit more of processing you'll have to sacrifice battery life, but for me the important thing here is that you have choice!!!

That is the reason I like Android. It's becoming a versatile OS (from average users to geeks), besides, Google doesn't impose stupid "quality control" policies on its app store like Apple. Overclocking for the iPhone? I don't think so. The famous 1984 Apple commercial, today more than ever, is against its creator because of the allegory to dictatorship.
