The weirdest thing about the phones specs, which to my surprise even GSMAreana and Microsoft haven't corrected in their specs that YES it does have a dual LED Flash along with its 5MP camera. We can clearly see it in the pics above.

Even at £440 it's still a pretty good deal. You have to keep in mind that all WP7 phones have top spec - similar to the iPhone 4 and Desire HD.....and top end phones usually retail for around £500 or thereabouts. I just hope a few carriers in the UK take it up so it's available free (or for a small fee) on contract.

Alex, 25 Oct 2010It's £440 at clove.co.ukRemember that this is still an overpriced figure. Clove and Expansys may get their devices earlier than the rest of the world, but they overprice it like heck. They even tried to sell the T-Mobile US HD2 for around $700 when the T-Mobile MSRP without a contract was only $450. Using proportions, the Dell Venus Pro should be only be 341 pounds maximum.

This phone is demanding a review!

500gbp is quite the gamble on a new OS... All the best to you Microsoft!!

This market desperately needs a 3rd competition.

Now you're talking Dell. A phone that can exploit WP7 and perhaps make it successful?

I read the official specsheet of this phone on Dell and it comes with a lot of features that WinPh 7 does not support on other WinPh 7 devices. I also e-mailed Expansys about this thing 2 days ago before placing my pre-order and they doublechecked with Dell and mailed back to me today and it does come with card-slot etc etc among other things not present on other WinPh 7 devices. I guess Dell must have done a really good job in integrating these specs on a WinPh7 phone.
