Laugh and underestimate the PlayStation phone now, haters. Easy to kick Sony when they are down. Nobody knew how well the Wii would sell after Nintendo finished 2nd and 3rd with N64 and GameCube. I remember people laughing at Nintendo when they saw the controller and stupid name. All those Wii Wii jokes. You can back the hot horse now, but for the next race, the favorite may not win. Today's winner is tomorrow's bridesmaid. Whether this flops or not, the marriage between hardcore gaming and cell phones need to happen now. We may not have the battery technology to support it, but it is a start. We all can't be stuck playing 99 cent casual games all day. I want the depth, amazing storylines, blood, and nudity too. Call it a flop now. You could be sadly mistaken and underestimate the once mighty video game king known as Sony that dominated with the PlayStation 1 & 2.

I have a beautiful iPhone 4 that is more powerful than an Xbox 1 and it usually sucks playing 16-bit 2D platform and fighting games. Enter PlayStation phone with actual buttons. Problem solved.

$ony are terrible at handheld gaming, they killed the pspgo before it was released.

This phone will flop big time.

Ugly. But PSPGo looks OK so there is hope.

Will hold off on other comments 'till the final design, pricing and specs are in.

Android and Sony may not last long if the rumours are true about Apple acquiring Sony.

3.7" and 4.1" for screen display it sounds not good for a gaming device.
5" sound much much better

I also feel tt the lack of a phisical stick might be a downgrade.

Lets see how the multitouch pad works on replacing analogic sticks; my bet, not good.

SWEET, SWEET, SWEET.... Cannot wait to see final form factor of the phone... Hope they allow the Android market place as well as the Sony market place..... Cannot wait to play EA games on it.... Im a PS3 user and would love this phone... Not a Xbox user so the WP7 Xbox phones doesn't appeal to me.... Glad Sony choose Android.....
