There isn't any fiasco man there are true events ad facts do you have any children? If you persist that there is a fiasco about Samsung and all are just lies then give a Note 7 to your children if you dare!!!! Good luck
MajesticRD, 03 Sep 2016Guys... I know is a fiasco but, What will other companies do in this situation?... I don't thi... moreIts cheaper to pay for the return, refurbsh. Then to face lawsuit from customer.
Imagine 4% each at 1 million dollars sue by customer.
Those that returned, they do not even need to give new ones, they just recycle old ones with new batteries only.
They do not care about you, only the cheapest course.
Anonymous, 02 Sep 20161st recall in the smartphone industry .1000% agreed with this comment...
what a shame in the face of mobile electronic engineering history.
Guys... I know is a fiasco but, What will other companies do in this situation?... I don't think they all "except for apple" will do what Samsung is doing for its customers, probably they will be blaming non original chargers or misuse, but a global recall?, I will replace my note 7 just in case and I do appreciate what Samsung is doing by assuming the responsibility for their battery fiasco.
This is a punishment that Samsung gets for
having a curved display and for having non removal battery! No excuse not to have a removable battery on a phone, so we can use third party large battery with case. No excuse not to have a flat display instead of a stupid edge display.
AnonD-404798, 02 Sep 2016Well you know nothing about design and what is actually beautiful and classy premium like feel... moreHe's still right, it's a no design having big bland shapeless massive bezzeled brick with a small screen to brick ratio lol
AnonD-404798, 02 Sep 2016yeah , you are right , sorry for talking about SONY here in this article but he started boolcr... moreYeah a long time ago (in smartphone years), what else has Bony done recently except give us more of the same?
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016If it explodes in your pocket and burns ur private parts, replace them too. It won't cost much. Why do you care it's not like you're using em anyway ;) Seriously dude quit being paranoid, take a math class or something or get a drink.
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016Even Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is more beautiful than XZ.More beautiful than the XR and better bargain than the XC.
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016Water proofing is not an excuse. There are water resistant smartphones with removable batterie... moreWhat politics? Name me one phone that has water resistance and removable battery besides the non-Android IP67 (not 68) certified HP Elite x3?

Samsung just want to copy other even colors also . People buying 56k cost mobile I can understand the pain after investing so much n got faulty product . 20 mobiles Samsung launch every year n iphone hardle 2 mobiles which make them popular throught year n bter resale value
AnonD-404954, 02 Sep 2016 sony the brand who let costumer enjoy fireball z4 right .
i never see sony recall productsony don't care about its customers.
They never take any responsibility for their failures.
in media its as simple as a recall, internally is a lot of work for samsung. I'm not sure what they are going to do with 2 million faulty units out there. What are they going to do? literally? are they going to take it back and "destroy" them? or are they going to take it back, open every unit and fix it? in North america we have to ship the units back. Now the problem is the carriers already "payed" for the phones, Samsung needs to pay the shipping fees to ship it back, and they also either have to issue replacements or refunds to the carriers, my gosh, this is going to be in the news for a while.
Best of luck Samsung. word of advice. Focus on your own products, don't focus on others, and stop with the attack ads. Karma will not let you go.
competing iphone.... look what happen when you rush something.. Pathetic!!
ProJames, 03 Sep 2016Very good move. They acknowledged that their battery are likely faulty instead of blaming the ... moreLol...your comment is funny. Everyone would want such phone but when reality kicks in, we get the understanding that it will, highly impossible, ever happen.
Anonymous, 02 Sep 2016they don't give a crap about customer, they just don't want a lawsuit.when samsung faces lawsuit, it doesn't really get publicized, since its not really a big deal, whatever samsung does is really not a big deal, this explodegate is an oppurtunity for apple users to get back at android users who constantly troll them.
Samsungs marketing tactics is to over flood with as much attention as possible to overshawdow the coming apple releases. Samsung is once again forced to make moves. The specs of their devices is based against apple the release date is once again based against apple. Their ads are based against apple, karma has hit em hard this time, as this type of media attention is recalling their faulty note 7's. Not sure how the hell they came to the conclusion that 24 of 1 million units are faulty, I have no idea were they came up with that number. Even during the bendgate, Tim Cooke they only 9 complaints towards the bendgate issue.
my gosh, Neglecence on Samsung's end.
Samsung's stradegy, get expensive parts, quickly put a phone together, and lets go. Quality assurance our butts.
