Hi there...just baught the D900...verry nice phone...but have a prob. I just installed a messenger on it...and each time i try to connect it asks me to send info or something, i looked into the permission and it doesn't let me to select the Yes, allways at the "use network to send info" ... u have any ideeas?..because it's irritating to press yes at an interval of 1-2 secs :(
Thanks for the keypad sound posting (on turning the keypad sound off) for the samsung D900 that was really helpful and worked a treat!
turn off bluetooth for extended battery life. That feature is with all bluetooth phones. Set to discoverable and only switch it on when you are using blue tooth device. Should save the battery life.
thanks - driving me crazy the keypad volumes! thanks so much for your help!!!!
D900 Key pad Volume - All sorted. Was just abit slow picking up on the pevious instructions. For any as slow as me - switch off phone lock with phone closed (top left key pad button, then ok button), use left button on side of phone to lower volume to 0. Calls and ringtone volume perform as usual after this and theres no annoying key pad tones.
Just bought a D900 and the battery dies after 7 hours on stand-by?
Has anyone else found this?
Chandanda person...you are a genius!! I waited for half an hour on Orange customer services for them to sort it out by updating my sim and they didn't manage to turn the stupid sound off!!
Bought a D900 yesterday. It's pretty cool and has a lot of good features. Since i saw many ppl have asked how to switch off the key tones... well i found a better and a very easy way! Just press the down arrow button on the left side of the phone until the key tone volume is zero!! thats it. no more key tones!!!! Overall the phone is really good.
Hi,does anyone know if it is possible to keep the display on even when the backlights go off on the D900? I find it very annoying that you can't see missed calls, etc unless you activate the keypad!
WOW! been tryin to work that out all day! got mine today! its awesome, even better now with out those silly beeps!!! fankoo!
Guys you can turn off the keypad tones when in standby mode using the volume keys on the left...this way you get to keep the scrolling pen text when entering a number!
Anyone know where I can get any cool themes (or even if I can upload them?), got my D900 today - cracking phone.
U legend! Been trying to turn off the keypad tone on the D900 since I got it this morning. Bit random that it only works once the dialling theme is removed but I think I can live with that.
Does anyone know when the d830 is coming out on o2 or t-mobile not through a third party like the carphone warehouse?
D900 Key Pad Tones
you can switch off these annoying tones (took me ages to figure this out) - though you can't have the keypad tones off and the scrolling pencil as well for some reason....
go to settings, then display settings, then dialling display - now chenge the font type from "theme" to "normal" (this switches off the scrolling pencil thingy) - you can now go back to the sound settings and access the keypad tones. I know this is a bit random but hope it helps
Hi Guys, I have X820 phone for 3 days now - absolutely loved it - HOWEVER (Yes there is a Fancy BUT) there is a small buzzing sound that the other person can hear when I am taking... this is very irritating - don't know if I got a lemon or its an issue with the entire series... Suggestion: Test calling in a Quite environment & ask the other person to check for buzzing sound (very irritating). I found the call quality dropping whenever there was a WIFI connection in the area - Starting to hate the phone.
To access the keypad tones, you have to go into the display option, and change display type to normal, then go into keypad tones select the request keypad tone, save, then you can go back to the display font type and change it back to the theme dialling display. For some reason the dialling display has to be set to normal for you to change the keypad tones.
the d900 is bare slim m8s im bare gonna try and buy the phone i lyk the e900 aswell.
