Nice
If Nokia released a 30fps program they can keep it. One reason I haven't bothered with the Kies plugin.
I'm PAL, PAL is 25fps, heck I'd rather have 24fps than 30, at least that's a cine and Bluray standard.
Anyone who didn't identify with the protagonist in this short has never been a commuter, or run-ins with traffic wardens (Charles Dance BTW).
Can we please have some rational discussions about the film? There's a thread about the browser if you want to discuss that, or go to the main N8 thread, lets keep this to the film please and no yah-boo nonsense / end rant:)

Based on picture quality Iphone 4 can match the N8, the script for this is nice and obviously to have Pamela Anderson on board would have cost Nokia quite a bit.
There's a short movie made using iphone 4 "Apple of my eye" on youtube probably cost $10 to make and the picture quality is just as good.
But the possibilities are endless now. Holywood/bollywood/nollywood or what wood is out there better watch out.
[deleted post]haha..actually in reality it seems u dont own anything whatever u mentioned in the comment i guess..because u have only one job that is coming to all nokia related topics and bash there.. hope u get some real job instead of this.. :)
The n9 will be advertised and have wallpaper Jena Jamesnon in high definition and it will cost for that only 3499 euros.

Who on earth invites their friends to their house for the purpose of plugging their hone to their tv?
"Oh hi James, what do you say you and Ian come over tonight to watch some videos I took an my phone?"
Sorry, but NO.
Yes, the video is amazing. Well done Nokia.

What is more convenient, to invite all your friends at your place to show them on your TV what videos you shot with the phone, or put them on Youtube? Nobody heard of the other site you mention.

The fact that most of the world uses 25 fps tv systems, which the N8 connects to, does not mean anything to you? The fact that youtube is geared towards the US 30 fps, is not my problem. Vimeo and others offer better quality, 25 fps support, and are still independent. If you care about your video quality, you would not put it on youtube in the first place.
one of the ugliest phones ever seen

The video is amazing. Only suffering a lot in the hotel scene due to lack of light.
But the story suck!

Youtube is optimised for 30Fps videos and if N8 shots at 25Fps is not youtube's problem. So buying a 12 Mpix camera which shoots 25Fps video, is a bad idea in this regard (uploading the videos on youtube).
with editing and professional video recorders... -.-
look on the videos on youtube and you'll really see what the Nokia N8's camera is like.
I'd like to see the original video, since YouTube compresses (ruins) videos quite a lot and make videos often jerky. 720p videos get extra compression artifacts, become softer and loose detail. Hopefully the original copy of this film gets posted to Vimeo.com where it can be downloaded.
Me, 28 Oct 2010Tried this phone today as was considering exchanging for Galaxy S.
WHAT A JOKE- LAG LAG LA... moreYou have to be at least half blind to consider Galaxy's camera better than N8's.
You must seriously be lacking in the intelligence department. You sound like a 5-year old child. You seem to have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about. It's almost embarrassing to read your ridiculously clueless comments.
