Samsung Galaxy Note7, the Exploder edition ;) Must be a karma for removing user replaceable batteries for the sake of oh, nice and shiny.
There are obviously two versions of this phone. The standard Chinese version and the Chinese firecracker version for the rest of us!
freddgsm, 03 Sep 2016tsk. hope the sales will not be affected...Trust me, mate. The sales will be affected by this. And obviously not in a positive way.
So - the west is now guinea pig for China in testing stuff eventually headed for China. It was about time.
I bought my phone from Australia but I'm living in China now, so maybe I can just get the battery replaced here.
freddgsm, 03 Sep 2016tsk. hope the sales will not be affected...seriously?? xD
would these newly supplied batteries affect the battery life ?? with new updates??? since they're not the ones that are provided by the company not externally??
This is negligence from Samsung with their failed QUALITY CHECK...
A sign to never buy Samsung Phones...
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016If the Chinese Note 7 units have batteries from diffrerent supplier, it means Samsung was well... more what a silly comment... do you think Samsung will sell a note 7 , knowing that a crucial part is defective!!!!
The country that is famous for exploding goods does not have the exploding units? WAT?
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016Chinese Note7 uses better battery than the korean Note7 that use chinese battery..lolLOL, the faulty batteries are made by Samsung SDI, obviously Chinese battery OEM win this round.
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016Chinese Note7 uses better battery than the korean Note7 that use chinese battery..lolActually, it's a battery from a Hong Kong company(Amperex Technology), and hong kong's QC should not be bad.
Anonymous, 03 Sep 2016If the Chinese Note 7 units have batteries from diffrerent supplier, it means Samsung was well... moreNo it dosent mean that samsung knew about the deffective battery, the biggest reason why they have diffrent companys is usually cause one company cant supply the enougth part that is needed for the customer (Samsung in this case) so they have to make a deal with another company aswell to make sure they get enougth that is needed.
If the Chinese Note 7 units have batteries from diffrerent supplier, it means Samsung was well aware of the issue even before it started becoming widespread. Maybe they just took chances selling the defective units earlier.
Now I understand why sammy fanboys said note 7 will blow the competition away. They literally blew it. Peace out.
