I think it is a very positive move, recalling every single unit instead of just replacing the faulty ones. Instead of doing the apple thing where you deny that your product has a flaw and silently replace affected units... (antennagate, bendgate)
Samsung and Apple are companies that produce average quality procucts. Both companies are only after the pockets of the consuming public. Samsung recalls the Note 7 to prevent lawsuit. These companies top priority is their profit not the welfare and safety of the consumers. If their top priority is the quality and safety of their products then bendgate and the Note 7 explosion will not happen.
Anonymous, 05 Sep 2016you dont know what you are saying right? Samsung is the biggest cell phones vendor worldwide.Do you know what? "the higher you fly the harder you fall" this applies to Samsung
AnonD-504676, 05 Sep 2016Samsung should just focus on building airconds or refrigerators. Just farking get lost in maki... moreyou dont know what you are saying right?

AnonD-276592, 05 Sep 2016Samsung needs to reconsider removable batteries.agree!
And to think that they were trying to save costs by using the same design, the same tired old hardware and software, pretty much not making a note (which used to be the late year's flagship) and now they're hit with quality issues...
Who would had thunk that lowering production costs to such extreme levels actually costs you more ... :p
AnonD-276592, 05 Sep 2016Samsung needs to reconsider removable batteries.i agree... :)
no worries, soon samsung will refurbish those recalled units and sell them again, to at least lessen the damages. LOL
Herodroid, 05 Sep 2016You are talking BS, samsung is not apple. Samsung device costs a lot more to make than appl ip... moreNo Samsung devices cost less and they have been overcharging for a long time. Besides for Apple its not just the hardware cost, they put billions into r&d for iOS alone. Samsung on the other hand just uses Android which isn't even optimized properly.
Hahahahaha first BYD now ITM. Daymsun, I would suggest stopping buying from the lowest bidder but... yea
AnonD-276592, 05 Sep 2016Samsung needs to reconsider removable batteries.they seriously should have, as at least then the recall would have only cost them a few million and not even reach anywhere near the $1 billion
This is what happens when you forget the world and follow apple
They were just fine before
Apple wanna be making their devices non removable caused them to fall and
im an Apple Fan boy, but SAMSUNG did the right thing here, A COMPANY NEEDS GaUTS to recall it's latest FLAGSHIP, they know this can effect there sales and profits for years to come. but the took the side of custmers.
See this is what happens when you take away the removable battery option, i hope the Note 8 has a removable battery...i'm sick of these iphone like built-in batteries!!!
