Realince jio SIM is out of stock last 8 days in Indore. So plz tell me where I buy this SIM.
Anonymous, 05 Sep 2016Does mean a thing. It's the news section. It is in the news section because the service launched today.
It is clear that all hidden charges are there in Reliance Jio. Why should people crazy about Jio sim? Go for Idea ,BSNL or vodafone. There is no cheating on their tariff plans.
I am using Jio developer sim since January.
All calls to all networks are free, even my LTE data is free since then, i dnt know abt official data plans. But yes calling is totally free dosent matter u use 2G,3G or VOLTE.
spac18, 05 Sep 2016No, you don't need to have data turned on. I am using jio on lyf wind 1 for two months and I c... moreI assume it could be free until 31 Dec 16. Not sure if calls from jio to any other 2g will be charged from 1 Jan 17.

adiind8, 05 Sep 20161. Yes voice calls are free. But it can be done only if both caller and receiver have a VoLTE ... moreThanks for your reply. My understanding is jio to jio could be free. But, will I be charged if I call from jio to say airtel who uses a smart phone but not on lte, but on 2g?
adiind8, 05 Sep 20161. Yes voice calls are free. But it can be done only if both caller and receiver have a VoLTE ... more"But it can be done only if both caller and receiver have a VoLTE enabled headset" Only the Caller need to have a JIO SIM and a 4G handset. Even a VoLTE handset is not necessary as you can use JIO JOIN app to make calls. JIO will take care of a caller calling on 2G or 3G or 4G network.
Volte is not required on both sides. Plain voip will be used for making calls to non volte customers.
Can any one tell whether lg g4 h818n dual sim variant supports voLTE or not? Becuase the gsmarena has mentioned in the list lg g3 so I am guessing lg g4 must. The list on jio website does not have any mention of lg g4 in its devices list which are true volte callable. Also the ndtv news app gave a list where the lg g4 was mentioned but that may have been the internation h815 variant. I am totally confused.

Dont know anything about this cuz I'm from the UK but C4ETECH did a video about this the other day lmao
Brother we live in a capitalist world. So companies are out there only for one reason- to make profit.
Secondly mukesh ambani is not alone in fooling people.
In fact every launch event ( whether mobile, automobile, laptops)across the globe, is a scam in itself.
No car gives the same mileage as announced in launch event.
No mobile gives actual 10 hours of usage in 15 minutes charge.
But one thing is good about reliance jio, that it has succeeded in breaking the cartelisation of indian telecom companies airtel, vodafone and idea. The market is completely shaken up.
It is good for the consumers in future.
Calls are not free as mentioned. Your data will get reduced for both incoming as well as outgoing calls. 1GB Costs INR 125 on an average not INR 50 as mentioned. Look at their prepaid plans to understand. "Absolutely fee calls" is a myth and is a big lie by Mukesh Ambani himself. I never thought Indias' richest man is so unethical and greedy and envious of other players.
For heavy data users (above 10GB every month) , i think the new airtel prepaid plan is much better than reliance jio.
In airtel,if you recharge with Rs.1499 once, after that you can get 1GB data for Rs.51 and 5GB for Rs.251 with 28 days validity. The 1499 recharge is valid for 1 year. If a user needs 10 GB data per month, in airtel i can get it for Rs.625. And 20GB for Rs. 1125 per month.
In reliance jio i can get 10GB for 999 and 20GB for 1499. So airtel is much cheaper than jio for heavy users.
