Here is link to check your Note 7 from China, Mine is not eligible for replacement, i.e. battery is good!
I hope Samsung will giving extra one year warranty for Note 7 users to ensure the quality is still fine after one year usage.

Instead of recalling the device, they could've provided compensation for every device that eventually has this problem. But, by recalling the device, they're trying to show that they care.

People need a reality check. A problem was found. A solution was offered. This is 1000x better response than anyone else in this market or any other market. Remember the antenna issue on the iPhones - You're holding it wrong. How about the exploding gas tanks on those GM pickup trucks - 20 years later we find out that is was cheaper to pay the lawsuits for the people that burned up rather than pay the $10 bucks a vehicle to redesign them. Get a grip people. Ret*rds galore here.
Samsung may have to suspend the shipment for Note 7. Major redesign for battery pack to meet safety standard.
Does Samsung not keeping track of its parts? Most company know exactly which batch contains which parts so they only recall the affected batches and not all units. Looks like Samsung have bad supply line management. No wonder high priced Samsung units often fail within 1 year.
I support Samsung because they are recalling 2 million phones themselves. I will certainly wait for few weeks to get Galaxy Note 7. Few weeks doesn't matter if I get good device from Samsung.
Samsung has shacked our Trust. Expensive phone and not durable. Now we do not want Note 7 even made by Gold or Platinium
The Note 7's batterygate happened because of Samsungs corporate greed.

Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016If they are now recalling Chinese versions then there is something Samsung is not telling us. ... moreThey are not, but there is always the possibility devices not indended for the chinese market somehow ended up there anyway, for example via gray import.
don't play with safety... s7 and note 5 are still on the market if you big fan of samsung...
