So, essentially, Microsoft partnered, and bought out Nokia's smart phone division, only for it to be killed in a couple of years?
oh no....... i want a lumia phone soooooo bad.......
lol! lol! lol!
Now MS should hold an event to officially discontinue their smartphone lineup
Anonymous, 07 Sep 2016Put full fledge windows on a phone. It might sell. Agree with you, though it won't be a full fledge; at least we can install and run any desktop applications/games on it.
I learned that it's possible to have windows 7 - lite which can run with very minimalistic resources, then why not!
Why would they even make more lumias, let alone a surface phone? The demand for windows phones are so low, that its more logical to just drop it. MS don't have the know how on hardware so they should just stick to software, where they excel at (pun intended).
Flossy420, 07 Sep 2016This just shows that Microsoft already knows they have no place in the smartphone industry. T... moreMore of to stop people questioning when a new model is going to pop up as people do get bored of looking at the same thing month after months...
they dropped because they are going to sell iphone 7 pro and iphone 7 plus pro on their sites from this month satya will be brand ambassador for pro version which will have all apps from ms preinstalled hahahaha...dont worry windows fan they still support windows phone virtually.....its just they are not going to concentrate this year on small inch devices.....
Ayush, 07 Sep 2016Why did they buy Nokia and Lumia at the first place? They didn't expect that only 3 people in the whole world will buy their phones.
This just shows that Microsoft already knows they have no place in the smartphone industry.
That's a real Shame since their UI and OS are really nice
