Altruisto, 09 Sep 2016Ridiculous claim. The new HTC one 10, Nexus P, S7, G5 all have better pixel level integrity.
... moreRidiculous claim. To see same pixel size and their integrity as you say, you have to zoom twice as much on a 23mpx than on a 12mpx shot
None of that color aberrations, left size softness, wb is superb, sharpening artefacts are present, as is fine grain....all in all superb photos, much less intrusive cons than other mobile cameras. ;-)

I see here a lot of noise, grain in the blue sky. There is a lot of chromatic aberration in the trees, the left corners are blurry, the white balance is off and too cold, the sharpening is leaving haloes everywhere. I own a Sony RX100 and I know Sony can do better than this. But don't do such false claims.
A mixed bag quality-wise, I must say... The graffiti in Image_2 looks tack sharp and nicely exposed, but the foliage rendering is funny. Dynamic range seems to have improved since the Z series, but the photos are still on the cooler side. Selfie samples seem to be at par with the competition.

Their reviews are more professional based then consumer focused. So standards are far higher then mobile blogging sites. Sometimes it's too technical and over scientific that the regular fanboys and general consumers can't comprehend their reasoning. The new Sony will top the charts again. They have since the Xp3, and they will continue too.
Not bad overall. The low light front facing camera selfie portrait shows decent performance. It isn't sharp or detailed but for a front facing camera it isn't bad. The outdoor pictures are tact sharp center wise but are extremely soft on the the corners and edge to edge. It would seem the IQ of the sensor and software benefit portrait head shots more then organic street photography. Colors look very natural. Nothing over saturated which is good. Surprisingly, the the sensor and G master lens combo work adequately to reduce moire and chroma. It's not perfect but moire and chroma are not noticeable unless pixel peeping. Which is a pleasant surprise. Overall, sample images show an improved sensor and software correction IQ. There's still a lot of over sharpening but that's better then blurry and over saturated photos.

You're right. Samsung still pushes the saturation a little bit more and let's not forget about the lens distortion, but overall it's a very good camera. Sony needs to work on the image rendering a bit more, to get rid of that painting effect. Then, it will be nice and smooth. :)

Sony finally nailed it. An exceptional camera.
There was also a vid from PA comparing the S7 to XZ in video stabilisation. XZ easily won, despite the fact S7 has OIS, XZ doesn't.
And XZ produced a vid with more natural colors, S7 produced a vid that was over saturated.
If you want to reply, watch the video, then open your mouth ;-)
