I myself owned one for a few days,... morei used the n8 in nokia store for abt 10 mins...nd within that 10 mins it crashed 2 times nd got laggy without any reasons....but the cam is superb!! but come on spending money for that shit only for a cam is like sinking money into water...compared to that iphone4 is 10000 times better
so yeah if anyone purchased that shit it will sure slow down with time may be within 6-7 months...nd nokia devices have a history of getting slow when it gets old...

I don't think they'll ever beat Nokia though, unless they decide to make low-end phones for the masses.

Nokia was top dog, back in the days. But honestly, if I want a top notch daily phone, Nokia doesn't cut the mustard. Don't get me wrong, overing other budget-wise touchscreen phones with all connectivity is a welcome, but come on Nokia! You expect me to shell out $700+ for a "680Mhz" phone with a touchscreen that is behind IP4 and Galaxy S? What happened to your leadership in innovation. What happened to the good old days when you were top dog with the N95? HD out is not something new and special. Just check out some random Keitai phone from Softbank or Docomo! Their phones are waterproof as well. "Samosa" N8 is just behind in everything period!

[deleted post]Sorry...but the iPhone4 isn't as great as everyone thinks. I myself owned one for a few days, & it still suffers from signal degradation & proximity sensor anomalies, & many of my friends who own the iPhone4 on AT&T are dissatisfied to say the least. The cracking glass on the iPhone is just another headache for users to contend with.
Apple will peak....& then lose ground...time will indeed reveal Apple as the biggest pretender in the mobile world.
I did however buy an N8, & while it may not be as pretty in the UI as Apple or Android, it is a powerful device, & one of the best mobiles I have used to this point.

How many year has Nokia been in the Mobile phone industry? Nokia is like grandfather if compared to apple. Apple only release 1 iphone/year. Nokia release like hundred models in a year. Comparing for the price, iphone cost you more than 700USD. and they manage to sale 14 million units. How many nokia model that cost you more than 700USD? Those 110 million units, most of Nokia phone cost you just 100USD-300USD.

Only a fool will buy an iphone.in this modern world everybody uses bluetooth,micro usd cards.the ability to use your phone as a hard drive and all that.this are important day to day task of a mobile phone.thats y i prefere nokia.what an old nokia n95 and any other symbian phone can do till today an iphone can never do.fuck apple,i am not stupid to buy a phone because of its looks.

Before Iphone 3G was released, the almighty brand REFUSED to offer any touchscreen 3G handsets. (even its so called 7710 2G phone sold in so little number which was nowhere to be seen)
AFTER iphone 3G was released (worldwide) in 2008, the almighty brand all of the sudden released dozens of touchscreen handsets, but most ended up as failure or must use the networks with subsidies to sell in good numbers.
