If Samsung made the note 7 with a removable battery look how much less of a problem this would be. Financial and logistical.
Maybe Sammy will reconsider putting user replacable cards and batteries in future phones.
Gilda, 11 Sep 2016Actually the iPhone 6s beat it soundly in a speed test. I've yet to see any android phone matc... moreAndroidS can do more stuff then iPhone. Plus android has software freedom. Ios is locked and ha's to be jailbreak but you void the phone's warranty by doing that. Androids are more powerful and better battery life
Value lost already it's very late to rebuild the Note 7 reputation replacement or not this phone is a dead end you'll see my point sooner or later anyhow
Borrowed phone huh, I don't suggest it, heck I don't even suggest selling your smart phone as a second hand. Why you ask, for people who actually knows their way around this type of tech they can extract information from your phone even if you wipe the memory.
UK is getting the first replacements. Some lucky Samsung customers are getting the first batch tomorrow.
A sobering lesson for Samsung at the very least I hope... Do consider that this is almost unheard of with S7 Edge. Most plausible conclusion:- Note 7 was a rushed job that the battery supplier was barely able to properly pass the burn test on the batt packs on time to fit the rollout schedule. Next time Samsung learn that the Note brand itself is already strong enough. It does not need to be named ridiculously to match against the likes of iPhone or sync with iPhone's release window.
So your not going to get another Samsung product after this fiasco? 35 phones reported with exploding batteries? Well I'm still getting the Note 7 after its a power house and no phone companies are without teething problems Samsung,Apple and Nokia to mention a few.......
The FAA has just grounded the Note 7. If you happen to travel a lot by plane, this is a massive blow!
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2016Personally wouldn't touch a Samsung phone after this mess. So you wouldn't touch an apple, lg, or moto phone either? At the very least not to mention

And a simple Google search or just being around has showed that other manufactures have all had similar issues.
It's called massed produced consumer goods. Welcome to reality
Ng, 11 Sep 2016After return J what Samsung will do for J? Sell to second hand marketOf course not.. Scamsung will sell it as brand new
I personally wouldn't trust the Note 7 after this fiasco and certainly wouldn't want to wait for another one after the hassle of buying it. There are other manufacturers out there who offer as good and better products.
