when people really want to buy them, htc charges sky high prices so that no one can afford. then people switches to other brands and then prices falls but no one is left to buy those sh!ts by then. Looser HTC!!
Anonymous, 14 Sep 2016i guess 120$ would get some attraction due to dated cpu and just 2100mah. redmi note 3 still w... moreWith this 2100mah battery i can get the same amount like i do with lg g5 thst has 2800mah batery and it also as fast as G5 with that mid range cpu so i recommand this phone, but i have the version with 3gb/32gb

A7RII, 14 Sep 2016Tough environment for HTC, A9 to sell for $299. Good looking phone though. Yup, it is a really great phone and one of the best in hand feels of any device. We got 3 for our business and on average we get 1.5 - 2 days with moderate use. Brilliant. I just love the unit as any A9 user will know.
kris, 13 Sep 2016$299 should have been the launch price for the phone. At $199 it would be a sale. i guess 120$ would get some attraction due to dated cpu and just 2100mah. redmi note 3 still way way better.

Looks very much like the Moto G4, but without the SD card slot a smaller battery and AMOLED display. And it costs almost $100 more even with this deal. Unlike the G4, this will not see an update ever.
So I'm having a hard time seeing where's the deal.
"HTC is now selling the One A9 through its official online store in the US for just $299 unlocked. That's $200 less than the phone's initial price."
Wasn't the initial price $399? Then a week or so after launch HTC jacked it up to $499?
