I have both Adblock and java blocker. Java blocker have only two settings.
Either blacklist or whitelist. But either way one of those are all block including add free sites. When u manually block content of one page from pop up version. That pop up version will still pop up but empty. This is so annoying because the same ads knows about this. So every new ads they will pop up and u are back in square one. Adblock is not permanent blocker

Who's still using Adblock Plus anyway? It's either AdBlocker Ultimate or uBlock Origin. No point in using anything else. There used to be Adblock Edge which was great, but developer unfortunately stopped developing it.

this is great, think a bit, you can still disable it if you want, but you can also enable it to support the websites that you visit, without those annoying pop ups. I have adblock disabled for gsmarena right now, and if abp implements a clean system of ads, then why not? i can spare 50mb of my bandwidth to pay for the websites that i like. be civilized, this will enable more free content

Well, this kind of defeats the purpose of adblock in the first place.

Eske Rahn, 14 Sep 2016Why not go in a completely different direction. Have a COMMERCIAL adblocker-central, where ... morelol your mind is like 10 years old.

1. Why do u think adblock would share their earnings with some other companies?
2. How would you spread the money to all world developers? they will get 0.0001$ per ads company or what?
3. Do you really think this is the only adblock in the internet? People will definetely take free alternative which will do job just as good.

Think again next time.

As others said: uBlock Origin is faster, lighter, open source and offers more control.

Why not go in a completely different direction.

Have a COMMERCIAL adblocker-central, where we could pay a monthly fee NOT to have all these damned ads, and then the sites would get some micro-payment exactly as if it were an ad.

This way the site would get the same amount as if the ads were shown, AND those of us that hate ads, would pay through the adblock-central in stead.

We all now that the sites have to make a living somehow - no free dinners in the universe. But I personally would MUCH rather pay to NOT see ads, than to have higher product prices to pay for ads, that I then even have to be pestered by on the web.

I'm using Adblock on my laptop and on my phones. Using Chrome on Android without Adblock is a hell. What ever site u are on it pop up another site. On lapotop this is worse. Up to 5 pages are open without Adblock. I don't care what ad creators wants. I want to surf web in peace not in stress so tnx but no tnx. There is still some issues with some sites because even if u have ad block all blocked there are still pages that will pop up even if u manually block them. This is so irritating. I don't care about "well they need to make money as well"
Here in gsmarena on laptop version it's better but on android/iOS it's worse. Slide down ad notification. I mean come on. I'm reading about news, about new tech and then it pop up something about some game or battery or something. I know exactly what to buy and when to buy it. Same thing goes in fuel stations or regular store. "Do u want that as well"
If I wanted that then I I would buy it. Why ask. Well because we must. Please stop asking. I know what to buy it and when to buy it. I'm gonna go all crazy next time I buy a coffee. Do u want pastry as well?
No I want a airplain Boeing 777 brand new. Do u have it? No. So why the f are u asking me anything?
