I don't personally think the ban is appropriate, but I understand it. The MTA is a fragile system carrying millions everyday, a small incident can impact multiple lines, so they won't take any risks. They don't give a crap that it's a samsung, they just follow the FAA on their ruling and apply it to themselves. The MTA isn't the first and won't be the last until the issues are officially fixed and deemed as safe by the regulators.

But no, Samsung are admitting to the faults without much crying or putting blame on others, so perhaps it is what it is...
And to your "American" argument, the exact same is true for South Korea. They will protect their own brands over anything and anyone. Oh, and then there is China....
It's just how it rolls buddy, get used to it and chill.
mir, 15 Sep 2016Let the discrimination begin.yah agree, as if U.S itself wanted Samsung to go Down, this is totally ridiculous.
comeback, 15 Sep 2016ITS TRUE! COME ON! does shamesung pays you for defending them? you don't make any sense dude...The US is known for using underhanded protectionism.
Even the military was talking about how much faster the iPhone was compared to the galaxy note, while understating the fact that they were comparing the galaxy note 2 to a iphone 6s.
Even in Apple's lawsuit against Samsung, they were talking about how they were an American company, so apparently even the rule of law means nothing. Even Obama stood up for Apple. And yet you think the media wouldn't support American companies?
