Julliard, 16 Sep 2016Anyone, huh? LeEco seems to be the only one doing it. Master of the art of soldering, LeEco. Because they found the niche market: People who cares only specs and only specs.. even when there is no real life gain.
Pretty smart actually. But not enough to make them #1.

Anyone can solder that many into a chip. Anyone can put a bigger battery pack into a phone. But they did nothing to optimising that hardware they put in.
Sometimes its a lie as well. (Some China phones advertise 2GB RAM, but actually is using 512MB, Aututu scores blow their covers..)
Thats why even though they might be the first, their phones review lack substance and justification of the increased specs, thats why its always very cheap.

Is so hard to understand that in a few years the top of the first three brands of mobile phones will change with chinese brands ?? Forget LeEco, name any chinese brand you want. It is simple evolution, nothing spectacular. Nokia is gone, htc is almost gone and htc made the first android phones for google, samsung have big issues, apple lost a lot of clients because of lack of innovation and boring products. Chinese brands will become stronger and stronger in the next years. They will ofer more specs at less money and people will buy it.
harlekkin, 15 Sep 2016LeEco, how about you start producing at the same quality like everyone else before nit-picking... moreActually, that is EXACTLY what LeEco is going for. They want to be the first in everything with the best/highest specs in a smartphone. If they can they would put a 4K display there and bash Samsung too. Who knows, all of a sudden they could put 8K surprisingly. Just like that 8gb ram, we haven't even get used to 6gb ram. I can't imagine how much more ram LeEco can develop in such a short time. LeEco is the epitome of fast developing technology. They are ahead of the curve. The rapid jump in tech they doing is a good thing. Their 6gb ram phone is already call a mini. I hope global smartphone price will drop quickly because of them.
I honestly find this disturbing, since theyr using a blood splattered Apple. I say we nuke these guys HQ, cuz theyr minds are perverted as heck xD. Seriously, who puts blood as a part of a joke, on the topic of batteries?

Do you get it or not ?! Do not laugh about LeEco and chinese brands because the future is 100% chinese. They will buy all. LeEco can be the next Samsung if they will have good marketing and evolution in quality. Until than, they will sell cheap and more and more. People like specs at less money and accept the experiment of buying a new no name brand. Like huawei did, i repeat. And selling cheap better products is Not An Innovation. Is just simple marketing.
5 .7-inch QHD display, 8GB/256GB memory configuration, 13MP dual rear camera, 16MP front camera, and a mammoth 5,000mAh battery !
BEST PHONE EVER !!!.
IPHONE 7 & S7 & S7 EDGE KILLER

I said the opposite: is no innovation in the evolution of huawei, and the recipe of huawei to reach number three on the market can be use by LeEco, Xiaomi,Oppo and other chinese brands. Cheap products always will sell good and if you are patient, offer more and more quality , design, specs for the same money, in time you can grow like huawei or zte. LeEco can be the next Huawei in 5 years if they will offer better products with more specs and quality at the same money as huawei. It is a simple recipe to grow: sell cheap, do not be greedy, reinvest capital in r'n'd to evolve and in adverising, make more money slowly but sure and some day you will mumber one. Samsun, apple will not be in top forever. The future is chinese. They work hard and good for less money. You laughed about LeEco. I laughed about Huawei and now i love my P9. But Huawei will become greedy for sure like Samsung, apple and ex no.
1 brands Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola. Maybe your next phone in 2018 will be LeEco... do not laugh and do not be ignorant with brands striving to climb on the top. Finally they will succeed.

Current is one part of the equation what about voltage, vooc charging has no problems with battery degradation it's far more complex charging your battery to full or recharging when empty also degrades battery
Usually high current(A) with low voltage is the sweet spot, voltage is the real Killer making phone batteries Hella hot with all the voltage conversion
iPhones have small capacity batteries, and 1Ah chargers, thus my iPhone 5 charges from 0 to 100 in a hour and a half. They use some software (maybe?) that pumps the battery to 80% very fast, and then slows down to 100%. You have it from 0 to 80% in less than a hour.
Point two - charging any battery with high current leads to battery health shortening. In fact, the best ways to charge a battery is with low current - this leads to battery health longevity and better battery life, but we live in times, when we need faster charging.
