As a 6"-phone user (Nexus 6), I simply refuse to buy smaller ones as they aren't comfortable enough for typing messages or emails on my hands. Seems like I have to switch back to non-Nexus -phones.
I like pixel branding and the whole concept of googles own devices. It doesn't matter who is manufacturing them. Whole device is design internally and externally by google. So everything is controlled from google.

Only phablets again. No Nexus smartphones. Looks like designed by overgrown people who fails to understand what is average height in this world.

And it is rumored (unofficial) that google doesn't say that pixel name is official so , it probably not name pixel.
I think it will have some degree of water resistant capability. I come to this conclusion just because of front panel. Otherwise why should Google add the front key again ?!!!!???!

But I agree nexus had a heritage or cult following. Plus nexus sounds more geeky and cool.i wonder why Google haven't got a brand logo yet there should be that 'G' just like Apple or moto have on the back of the phone

There is no way possible you can see a huge bump in processing power and speed specially in such small devices like mobiles. And it's still 2016.there is nothing last year sd820 is still very 2016ish
The "Pixel" name is just so stupid, I can't get over it. It's infantalizing. It sounds like a childs toy. Or Tinker Bell's best friend. I just don't see how Google thinks this is going to appeal to the nerdy mostly male former Nexus fans. Why throw away a brand, with Nexus, that has large fan base? It's just so dumb.
I'm still on my Nexus 4. I keep waiting for the next Nexus phone. But Google always screws it up somehow.

Wait for officia... morespecs matters a lot bc of the price. but if the phone will be max 300$, then specs doesnt matter so much. since it will be 5-600$ it will require to have the latest, to get my money. bc im not paying overprice for last years model.

Thus I'm totally okay with 820, that's what I mean. I'm not a spec-freak kind.
