This is retarded, I've found the X Compact to completely outperform the Z3C and Z5C in battery life tests.
I had Z3 compact, Z5 compact and now x compact.
X compact has better battery life than the others.
Strange result ...
The Sony Z3 compact with a bit smaller battery (2,600 to 2,700 in XC)
had 101h in your test...

People, Before trashing the batery life, remember that this phone is running on MarshMallow which gives the worst battery life.
Yes the Z3Compact had 101 hr endurance when it was released but it is nowhere near that on MarshMallow now.
z3compact-101hrs
z5compact-91hrs
xcompact-75hrs

Akinaro, 23 Sep 2016it actually dont change anything, it just have poor battery life compared to all other xperia ... moreI feel the same way...I still have my old Z1 Compact and when I use it sometimes, it easily goes over a day with mid use, which is higher than flagships these days. Problem is, phone manufacturers just want that benchmark score, because it attracts a lot of misguided people, instead they should focus on higher durability and better battery tech, but we know it ain't gonna happen, because they want to sell phones every year, not every 3-4 years. It's all about that cash.
.alpha, 23 Sep 2016What a terrible score. 2,700mAh battery and only managed 10% more battery life than iPhone 7 w... moreReally? Show me any iPhone (new or old) that clocks higher than 80h on battery life test...because I see a lot of Android phones going over that threshold. There is one thing to share a constructive criticism, and the other thing, being just a close minded troll.
Poor result, and another reason to think, that Sony killed true Compact phones and now just making Mini versions. It would be hard to measure up to the Z3C, I'll give them that, but not having better score than Z5C? That's a fail to me. After all we hear about new technologies being more energy efficient, hell...with a mid-range SoC still going under? I'm disappointed, and I am a huge fan of Z Compact series.
the s5 mini has a better battery, but the xxc has a better everything else...
AnonD-501550, 23 Sep 2016Even Sony itself can't beat the 101 Hours Endurance of the Z3 CompactYes, Z3 Compact is Sonys best phone to date. Beautiful glass front and back, no overheating or mid end processor, smallest bezels of all Z / X Compacts and this battery life
Akinaro, 23 Sep 2016it actually dont change anything, it just have poor battery life compared to all other xperia ... moreCheck how the battery score for the full size z5 when changed from 50% brightness to 200 nits.
Went from 73h to 48h so yeah it does change things
73 hrs = good battery life but not Very Good
61 hrs = terrible battery life
Very disappointing considering the Z3C had a 101h score!
.alpha, 23 Sep 2016What a terrible score. 2,700mAh battery and only managed 10% more battery life than iPhone 7 w... moreUp to this point my iPhone friends were charging twice a day. So frustrating many said. So your comments on all Android battery's being awful is just so dumb when it's clearly not correct. IPhone which I like too is now only just improved a bit. About time.
What a terrible score. 2,700mAh battery and only managed 10% more battery life than iPhone 7 which is powered by a SoC four times more powerful and a bigger and higher res screen. Android battery life are always terrible.
AnonD-481725, 23 Sep 2016For the people who are disappointed and saying not worth... Did you read this section? " It's ... moreit actually dont change anything, it just have poor battery life compared to all other xperia compact series, and overal xperia series, that ALWAYS where amazing in this test, my old xperia z3 still keep nice battery time, even after all those years, and still it can beat those new phones.
So tell me where is progress here? Sony just lost its magic, and even if gsma would use minimum light on screen it would be still bad.
Gsm should change the whole endurances of all smartphones, or delete for those they can't do it or something like that, to make more sense.
For the people who are disappointed and saying not worth... Did you read this section? " It's worth keeping in mind, however, that the Z5 Compact was tested before we adopted the standardized 200-nit brightness, and it was instead set at 50% of maximum, which meant 106 nits in its particular case "
